MRS. MARISSA FREDERICKA GODBOLT (‘RISSA’)
A Private Homegoing Celebra- tion for Mrs. Marissa Frederika Godbolt of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020, will be held on Saturday, May 2nd, 2 p. m., Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Larry Roundtree, II, pastor of New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, officiating. The interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Marissa Fredericka Godbolt was born August 17, 1953 in Lees- burg, Florida. She enjoyed cook- ing, going to bingo and social gatherings. She attended New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by: her mother, Bessie Ruth Nelson and daughter, Shontelle Mouling.
She leaves to cherish her pre- cious memories with: her sons, Joe Godbolt and Wyndel Godbolt (April); grandchildren, Jasmine Fleming, Porsche Mouling, Fredrick Mouling, Loretta Moul- ing, Tarra Leeks, Dava Leeks and Shannon Johnson; great-grand- children, Ayden Harper, Ron- nardo Tyson, Jr., Royalty Tyson, Reign Tyson and Remedi Tyson; brother, Al Copeland, Jr. (Felicia); sisters, Kathy Campbell (Marvin) and Alfredia Mulkey; aunt, Marie Russ; nieces, Kandace Johnson (Jonathan), Kristen Felder, Brandie Felder and Zoie Mulkey; nephew, Ryan Felder (Wakina); cousins, Gwen Hall, Willie Russ, Kitty Oliver, Shawna Leeks, Debra Toombs, Patricia Clayton, Nicole Leeks, Krisha Hawthorne Cassan- dra Leeks, Angel Douse, Robert Toombs and Derrick Toombs; friends, the late Jerry Scott, Mark, Linda, Aliza and Gabrielle Sena and Fannie Riggins.

MR. JAMES LIONEL GADDIE, SR.
A Homegoing Graveside Cele- bration for Mr. James Lionel Gad- die, Sr., of Riverview, Florida, who passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020, will be held on Saturday, May 2nd, at 11 a. m. at Hillsboro Memorial Cemetery, 2323 W. Brandon Blvd., Brandon, FL 33511, Apostolic Bishop T. B. Davis, officiating. The interment will follow at Hillsboro Memorial Cemetery.
James was a loving and de- voted husband, father, and grand- father. He met and married the love of his life, Dansenia Jackson Gaddie in June of 1985. From this union was born two beautiful chil- dren, Jasmine Danielle and James Lionel, Jr. and one adorable grandchild Jazlynn Madison Jack- son, whom James affectionately called, “Maddy”. He attended and graduated from Northwest Classen High School in Oklahoma City, OK, class of 1979, and at- tended LSU on a basketball schol- arship.
James moved to Tampa, FL from Slidell, Louisiana in 1983. He began an admirable career for over thirty years as a Car Sales Consultant and as a Mortgage Bro- ker. James’ hobbies were refur- bishing classic cars and basketball; and above all he en- joyed spending quality time with his family and worshipping the Lord. James was preceded in death by: his daughter, Jasmine Danielle Gaddie, his father James Gaddie, and his two sisters, Bev- erly Gaddie Valdez and Jane Gad- die.
James is survived by: his lov- ing and devoted wife, Dansenia Jackson Gaddie; son, James Li- onel Gaddie, Jr. and granddaugh- ter, Jazlynn Madison Jackson; mother, Mary Gaddie (Slidell, LA); sister, Sylvia Gaddie Davis (At- lanta, GA); nieces, Maya Gaddie (Los Angeles, CA), and Simone Davis (Atlanta, GA); one nephew, Anthony Valdez (Atlanta, GA); two uncles, Louis Jay Smith (Alberta), Slidell, LA, and Walter Smith, (At- lanta, GA). He is also blessed to be loved and missed by his large fam- ily of brothers and sisters-in-law, Twanda (Charles) Roberts, Shahi- dah Aquil, Madie (Henry) Craw- ford, Archie (Gail) Harrison, Mancel Harrison, Yolanda (Roger) Collins, Robin (Johnnie) Favors, Thomasina Bryant (Willie), War- ren Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins and two very special friends, Arthur Banks and Terry Kirnes.
James will always have a spe- cial place in the hearts of many and will be sadly missed. The fam- ily and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery on Saturday for the service. MR. LARRY J. JAKES
A Homegoing Visitation for Mr. Larry J. Jakes of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020, will be held on Thursday, April 30th, at 4-6 p. m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Tampa, Florida, 33610. The interment will follow.
Larry was born on June 24, 1951 in Bainbridge, Georgia. He was a talented mechanic and en- joyed fishing and sitting “under the tree” during his free time.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Bartow Jakes; mother, Doretha Jakes (Simon); and grandson, Maurice Walton.
He leaves to cherish his beautiful memories with: his loving and devoted wife, Phyliss E. Jakes; sons, Larry E. Jakes and Kevin L. Crowley; daugh- ters, Carla L. Jakes and Michelle N. Exum; grandchildren, Sharaine L. Williams, Laraine L. Williams, Kelvin L. Williams (Sassy), Janie A. Jakes, Natavia E. Exum, Michael O. Exum, Tevin W. Walton (Brittaney); brothers, Walter Jakes and Robert Jakes; sister, Rose Mary Bristol Jakes; nieces, Marcia Bristol, Jennifer Murray, Natasha Bristol, and Tasha Jakes; and a host of other nieces and nephews; and The Wolf Pack Crew.

Ms. Veronica Crumpton of Tampa, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 18, 2020.
Due to the current restric- tions from the CDC, we are ask- ing family and friends to pay their respects and to follow the CDC guidelines. Viewing and family visitation will be con- ducted Friday, May 1, 2020 from 10a.m.to2p.m.atRay Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial service date to be determined.
Ms. Veronica Crumpton was a native of Tampa, Florida, and a resident of Tampa for 67 years. As a youth, Ms. Crumpton was a member of Tyer Temple United Methodist Church and member of Deeper Life Christian Church for the past 25 years. She at- tended Tampa Catholic High School and Brewster Technical College. Ms. Crumpton served as an LPN at Tampa General Hospi- tal for 15 years, primarily on the Oncology unit. She transitioned into customer service where she enjoyed meeting people and making friends. She was em- ployed with the Salvation Army and Publix Supermarket.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Louise Reeves and Joseph Hall; her sisters, Lenora McCants, and Yvonne Walden and her brother, Bernard Reeves.
She leaves to cherish her memory: loving daughter and loving son, Gwendolyn Green and Calvin Greene; grandchil- dren, Aundrea Green, Sabrina Greene, Immanuel Greene and Bethany Greene; siblings, Naimah Muhammad and Michael Hall (Anita Hall); brother-in-law, Howard Wal- don; nieces and nephews, William Stokes (Matilda), Imani Diop, Joetta Reeves, Tacuma Muhammad, Balewa Muham- mad, Joshua Muhammad, Sabreen Gilbert, Jor-El Hall and Simone Hall; and a host of cousins.

MR. FRED LEONARD MARTIN, SR.
Mr. Fred Leonard Martin, Sr., passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2020.
Due to the current restric- tions from the CDC, the graveside service will be closed to the pub- lic. A Private graveside service for the family only, will be held on Saturday, May 2, at 11 a. m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, with Reverend Kaleb Barnum, officiating.

Mr. Fred Leonard Martin, Sr., was a native of St. Petersburg, FL, born to David F. Martin and Mar- ion B. Martin. He attended the local schools of Pinellas County and Hillsborough County. He was a WWII Veteran, serving in the United States Army. He was hon- orably discharged. Upon his dis- charge from the military, he married the love of his life, Mary Johnson in 1948. To this union, six children were born.
Mr. Martin was preceded in death by: his parents, David F. Martin and Marion B. Martin; his wife, Mary J. Martin; one son, An- thony C. Martin, Sr.; one daugh- ter, Naomi K. Martin; one granddaughter, Andrea D. Mar- tin; one daughter-in-law, Brenda M. Martin; sisters, Mercedes Robinson, Minnie L Sellers, and Mary C. Darby.
Mr. Martin leaves behind to cherish his legacy and memory: two sons, Fred L. Martin, Jr. (Gilda), and George E. Martin; two daughters, Cynthia M. Martin and Marian L. Cail (Frank); twelve grandchildren, Carmen D. Dean, Felicia R. Coles (Charles), Christina N. Lovett (Malik), Sharone D. Patten (Isaac), Sher- rlyn D. Martin, Nafeesah Roberts Perkins (Steve), Cedric M. Roberts (Monica), An- tonio C. Cail, Adrione C. Cail (Crystal), Ashley L. Martin, Alicia M. Martin, Marshanna D. Martin, and Anthony C. Martin, Jr.; 36 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson; nephews, Ronald Sellers (Annette), Dwayne Raiford, and Andrew Parker, Jr.; nieces, Dolores Bedden, Diane Sellers, Sheila Saunders (Ted), and Michelle Johnson (Charlie); a host of cousins, relatives, loyal neighbors, Wallace Crawford, and friends.
The visitation will be held on Friday,May1,from3p.m.to7p. m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa Florida 33606. Visitation hours have been extended and we are asking family and friends to pay their respects and to follow the CDC guidelines.
