MR. RUDOLPH ‘RUDY’ CANADY
A Homegoing Celebration for Rudolph (Rudy) Canady will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd., Rev. Michael Neely, offi- ciating.
Rudolph (Rudy) Canady was born on January 13, 1951, in Tampa, Florida to the late Melvin Canady, Sr., and John- nie Mae (Lemons) Canady.
He graduated from Blake High School and attended Hillsborough Junior College, in Tampa. Rudy worked several years as a branch manager in the mortgage industry field.
Rudolph (Rudy) was pre- ceded in death by: his mother, Johnnie Mae (Lemons) Canady, and father, Melvin Canady, Sr., and brother-in- law, Ervin Miller.
Loving him and cherishing his memories are: 2 daughters, Twila Canady and DaTonya Creary; 2 sisters, Luvenia Canady Turner and husband, David, Jr., and Ernestine Miller; 3 brothers, Melvin Canady, Jr., and wife, Delilah, Ernest Canady and wife, Debra Leah, and John Quincy Canady; 2 nieces, Tara Turner and Temika Canady; 4 nephews, Marcus D. Turner, Jonas A. Oliver, Melvin Canady, III, and David Canady.
To mourn his loss are: 4 grandchildren, 6 great grand- children and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and well-wishers.
The visitation for Rudolph (Rudy) Canady will be held Sat- urday, March 20, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., fol- lowed by the funeral service. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at approximately 10:45 am.

MRS. BARBARA J. CHERRY ‘COOKIE’
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Barbara J. Cherry, “Cookie,” of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Wednes- day, March 10, 2021, will be held Saturday, March 20th, 11:00 a.m., First M. B. Church of High- land Pines, 4711 E. 21st Street, Pastor Cleveland Lane, officiant. The interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Barbara J. Cherry, “Cookie,” was born on May 17, 1948, in Trenton, New Jersey. She gradu- ated from Blake High School. She was a member of Northside M. B. Church and Order of the Eastern Stars.
Barbara enjoyed traveling, cooking, holiday dinners and spending time with her family. Barbara was loving mom, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, sis- ter-in-law, aunt, friend and a great woman of God.
She was preceded in death by: her grandparents, Wallace and Emma Mims; father, Wal- lace Mims, Sr.; son, Willie Cherry, Jr.; grandson, Willie Cherry, III, and stepmother, Barbara L. Mims.
She leaves to cherish her pre- cious memories with: her daugh- ter, Etrinda L. Parker (Eric); grandchildren, Ronald A. Wash- ington, Jr., Eric A. Washington, Sr., (Lyonda), Latoya L. Lasing (Adrian), Ashley Cherry, Adrian Cherry, Corey Frierson and Jackson Cousins; great grand- children, Amyla Cherry, Amari- ana Cherry, Emonie Washington, Tayeya Brown, Aaliyah Lasing, Quevon Richard- son, JaQuan Richardson, Ja’Veiona Young, Eric Washing- ton, Jr., Ari Love Lasing, Willie Cherry, IV, Zoria Lasing and Audre Lasing; brothers, James Reddy Summers (Deidre) and Wallace Calvin Mims, Jr., (Stephanie); sisters, Mildred El- lison, Lillian Murray (Sam) and Belinda Mims-Reid (Glenn); a host of nieces and nephews; daughter in Christ, Rachelle S. Brown (William) and life long friend/sister, Caddie Timmons.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, March 19th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.

A Homegoing Service for Minister Donna Davenport will be held on Wednesday, March 17th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Tony Steward will be officiating the service at CityLife Church, 8411 N Dale Mabry Highway. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Minister Donna M. Daven- port was born November 19, 1961, in Philadelphia, Pennsylva- nia. She enjoyed baking, she was a writer and a book author, and most of all, a minister spreading God’s good news to everyone.
She was preceded in death by: her paternal grandparents, parents, Darnell and Patricia Davenport, brother, Darnell Davenport, grandfather, Robert Ferrante and great grand- mother, Mary Langston.
She leaves to cherish her memories with: her children, Tawana Floyd, Nikida Davenport Gibson, and Curtis Robinson, Jr., and their spouses Nathaniel Floyd, Sr., Earl Gibson, and Des- tiny Robinson. Her grandchil- dren, Nathaniel Floyd, Jr., Nysire Floyd, Nikiyah Daven- port, N’Talia Davenport, Nyseem Floyd, Earl Gibson, Jr., Micah Robinson, and Asa Robinson; grandmother, Betty Ferrante, whom she loved dearly; broth- ers, Derrick Davenport and Mark Davenport; a host of aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, and cousins; spiritual daughter, Mi- lagros Ramos; friends, Dawn Burch, Waleska Billups, Shelia Hargrave and Winnie Saringo Ashwood; and a host of other family and friends who will miss

A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Rashard C. Parker, of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, will be held on Saturday, March 20th, 1:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Mar- tin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Bishop Sylvester Robinson, offi- ciating.
Rashard Parker was born on March 7, 1990, in Tampa, Florida, to parents Michael W. Scott and Erica D. Jackson- Scott. He was educated n the Hillsborough County Public School System, where he at- tended Armwood High School eventually acquired his High school diploma. He attended Hillsborough Community Col- lege. Over the years he was em- ployed at Tampa Electric, his latest employment was a courier for UPS. He was a wrestler and played football at Armwood High School and his favorite pass time was gaming and bas- ketball on Sunday.
He was a devoted father of 3 beautiful children, Kyla Parker, Tyre Harmon and Skylar Parker. He was a meek and gen- tle giant of a man.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Sabonda Parker; his great grandmother, Ruby Perkins-Campbell; and late grandmother, Marcella Parker.
He leaves to cherish loving memories with: his loving par- ents, Michael and Erica Jack- son-Scott; children, Kyla Parker, Tyre Harmon and Sky- lar Parker; his loving grandpar- ents, Donald and Belinda Jackson; his brothers, Jabez Reddick and DaMario Scott; his brother/uncle, Donald Jackson, Jr.; his sisters, Charisma Red- dick, Taniya Reddick and Shameka Campbell; uncle, James (Mary) Scott, Patrick Scott, Stephen Scott, Frederick McDuffie and Billy (Juliette) Brown; aunts, Yuwanda Parker and Sherica Cobb; cousins, Willie Campbell, Patricia Camp- bell, Adrian Carter, Nichole Jor- dan, David Williams, Herbert Mobley, Antione Brown, Donell Jamison, Nene Jackson and Oc- tavia Cannedy; special surro- gate aunt, Enriquita Marshall and special soul mate, Diondra West; a host of nieces and nephews and extended family.

John W. Taylor was born April 2, 1942, in Dade City, Florida. He attended St. James A.M.E. Church. He enjoyed box- ing and playing the drums.
He was preceded in death by: brothers, Billy Taylor and Willie O’Neil; sister, Betty Jean Taylor; daughters, Yvonne Grier and Cassandra Robinson.
He leaves to cherish his pre- cious memories with: his loving and caring wife, Joann Taylor; children, John W. Taylor. III. of Syracuse, New York, Annette Taylor. of Rochester, New York, Curtis Taylor. of Tampa, Florida, Darnell Dexter. of Syracuse, New York, Virgil Crump (Keisha). of Tampa, Florida, Katina Hollingshed (John), of Tampa, Florida, Monique Taylor, of Syracuse, New York and Wes Taylor, of Orlando, Florida; a host of grandchildren and great grand- children; brother, Louis Taylor; a host of nieces and nephews; friends, Virgie Mile, Stan Wom- ack, Barbara Davis, “Gator” Botwell, Maseo Brown, Victor Smiley and Rev.
