Retired Tampa Police Captain Dies Suddenly

A retired Tampa Police Captain died suddenly last Friday. Retired Captain Michael Flynn was 58- years-old.
Captain Flynn joined the Tampa Police Department in 1994. He and his wife, retired Major Yvette Flynn both retired in January 2020. Continuing his life of service, Captain Flynn was hired as a Major with the Fort Pierce Police Department. He re- mained there until his death.
Tampa Police Chief Brian Dugan said, “Mike led a life dedicated to the service of others. My heart goes out to Yvette and the entire Flynn family. I ask everyone in the community,
