Pop Smoke’s Gravesite Vandalized
    Cruelty Charges After
It appears Pop Smoke’s Brooklyn gravesite has become a crime scene.
As shown in photos obtained by TMZ, the rapper’s crypt at New York City’s Green-Wood Cemetery was found completely destroyed this weekend. The im- ages include close-ups of the Pop Smoke’s broken marble plaque engraved with his full, birth-given name, Bashar Barakah Jackson. The other plaques on the outer wall of the mausoleum were seemingly un-
According to a source, they tried to remove his body.􏰀
A witness told TMZ they dis- covered the damage early Satur- day, and immediately alerted security. The outlet points out that there were also drag marks outside Pop Smoke’s crypt, in- dicating the vandals may have pulled something out of the tomb. Additional photos high- light a “door-looking” object next to the site, which is believed to be the concrete slab that was placed over the rapper’s casket.

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II Suggests He’s Playing Morpheus In ‘The Matrix Resurrections’
With the arrival of the first trailer for The Matrix: Resur- rections, star Yahya Abdul- Mateen II sent fans into a frenzy with one simple post.
Directed by Lana Wa- chowski, the trailer sees the return of Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss, but also the introduction of Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’s character. Not much is known about the role he plays, but with the look

of his character and the absence of original Morpheus actor Laurence Fishburne, some fans believe they have a good idea, which Abdul-Mateen II basically confirmed.
Alongside a screenshot of himself in the film shared on In- stagram, Abdul-Mateen II has either confirmed the specu- lation, or added more fuel to the fire. “MORPHEUS,” he wrote alongside the image.
DaBaby and Lil Wayne Release New Single 'Lonely'
DaBaby’s tapped Lil Wayne to help deliver his new single “Lonely.” The song comes after the North Car- olina rapper has released a se- ries of freestyles.
In the track, DaBaby raps about the death of his brother, feeling like there is no love at the top or bottom of the in- dustry, and alludes to the backlash of the comments he made during Rolling Loud Miami in July. While not fully present here, the constant de- flection of those actions has been a constant in his music, like in his “Essence” freestyle that dropped last week, where DaBaby spoke between verses about how he believes

people tried to assassinate his character.
“I just feel like, you know, when situations like this pres- ent themselves, man, and peo- ple try to, you know, assassinate your character, man, assassinate who you are,
man, and everything you put that hard work in for, man— sometimes you gotta demon- strate, you know, that’s how I came in. I don’t mind demon- stratin’. I don’t mind exer- cisin’, you dig what I’m sayin’?”
