Businesswoman’s Passion Led To Creating One-Of A-Kind Gift Service

Tana Kari is a woman with a passion for gift-giving. In November of 2020, she opened her business, Posted Petal, based on the principles she learned from a book about love languages.
After reading the book and dis- covering that her love language was “gifts,” Kari decided that she would do something that reflected her pas- sions and loves.
Posted Petal offers a service that takes a moment that you want to make special and transforms the idea into a custom, one-of-a-kind gift. Whether you are celebrating a new job, new baby, new house, etc.,

Posted Petals also does corporate gifting, with special items designed for special company events, or staff acknowledgements.
The aim is to provide clients with a gift to give that is more meaningful than a store-bought gift. Clients are interviewed and share tidbits of in- formation that Posted Petals incor- porates into a curated gift.
Born in England to a military family, Kari’s family returned stateside when Kari started college. She has been in Tampa for the last 12 years and attended the University of South Florida, then attended the Art Institute of Tampa and majored in interior design.
The COVID pandemic led to feelings of self-reflection for Kari. Deciding that she wanted to work for herself was another factor. She wanted to do more and be more.
Kari says the future includes ex- panding her business. Many of her clients are realtors and realty offices, and she wants to bring in all types of businesses and private clients.
In 2022, Kari is launching a spe- cial bridal expansion with many services.
For young people looking to have success, Kari says ‘if you are pas- sionate about something and you keep at it, you will succeed.’
