    RAY WILLIAMS
MR. DAVID C. COLEMAN, JR.
Mr. David C. Coleman, Jr., 91, of Tampa, departed this earthly life to be with his heav- enly father on Wednesday, March 6, 2019. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 16th, at 1 p. m. at College Hill Church of God In Christ, 6414 N. 30th St., with Superin- tendant Charles Davis, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be held Monday, March 18th at 11 a. m. at Florida National Ceme- tery, Bushnell, FL.
He was a native of Coleman, FL born to Rev. David C. Cole- man, Sr. and Alice Mae Long- worth Coleman, and was the oldest of 15 siblings. He served in the U. S. Military, and was a veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Coleman retired from the Hills- borough County School System in 1985. He was a faithful mem- ber of College Hill COGIC and he loved God and his church family and spoke often of their fellowship.
Mr. Coleman leaves a family of loved ones: his devoted wife, Edna Coleman; children, Larry Coleman, Sr., Rev. David C. Coleman, III (Dorothy), Ida Coleman, Ronald Coleman (Jacqueline), Linda Davis (Michael), Johnny Smith, Theresa Warner, Emlis Mickens (Rev. Joseph), Peter Smith,
Elvis Smith, Anita Jordan, and Tony Bell; sisters, Elder Alice Mae Diggs, and Ella Thompson (Doyle); brothers, Alonzo Cole- man (Mary), Leonard Coleman (Johnny Mae), Harry Coleman, and Ulysses Coleman; special sister-in-law, Mattie Ford; sis- ters-in-law, Fannie Coleman, Queen Ester, and Coma Cole- man; brother-in-law, Eddie (Sonny) Phillips; grandchildren, Phaedra Johnson (Donald), David C. Coleman, IV, Larry Coleman, Jr. (Gwen), Gregory Coleman, Christopher Coleman, Ronald Coleman, Jr., Marcus Orr, Mandel Jordan, Johnell (Rufus) Johnson, Joseph (Tara) Mickens, Imani Mickens, Tamika, Tyra and Tia Hepburn, James Johnson, Jr., Rodney Johnson, Frederic Johnson, Jacqueline Johnson, and Eric (Alicia) Johnson; great- grand- children, Donald Johnson, Jr., Jeremiah Johnson, David C. Coleman, V, Gregory Coleman, Jr., Essence Coleman, Larry Coleman, Jr., Jasmine Coleman, Johnathan and Riley Smith; along with a very devoted nephew, Kent (Gail) Coleman; a special niece, Veronica McCrea; a special goddaughter, Mishon- dra (Meme); Kelly Bryant, his traveling barber and a host of other relatives and friends, who loved him dearly.
Preceding him in death were: his wives, Fannie Phillips-Cole- man and Patricia Pierce-Cole- man; son, Rudolph C. Coleman; sisters, Vera, Edna and Oretha; brothers, Jack, Clinton, Lawrence, Wilbur Lee and Willie D. Coleman; brothers-in-law, Arzell Diggs, Willie Ford, Tyrone Cobb and David Phillips; sisters- in-law, Jean Phillips and Naomi Phillips.
Public visitation will be held Friday, March 15th, from 5 - 8 p. m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue and the family will be present from 6-7 p. m.

MRS. ANNIE LOUISE MCCLINTON
Mrs. Annie Louise McClin- ton, 105, a longtime resident of Tampa, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 9, 2019. At the time of her passing she had been a resident of Magnolia Manor Assisted Living Facility in Lutz, FL for the past 3 years.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a. m. on Monday, March 18, at Greater Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 1207 N. Jeffer- son Street, Tampa, FL 33602. The Rev. Brett Snowden will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
Preceding Ann in death were: husband, Robert L. Mc- Clinton; mother and father, Ma- linda and Steve Kelly; aunt and uncle, Rev. and Mrs. Louis McGhee; uncle, Samuel Waiters; and a dear friend and cousin, Grace Timmons Bowden.
She was a loving and dedi- cated wife to the late Robert L. McClinton for 52 years.
She is survived by: her son, Dr. Charles McClinton, Sr.; a daughter-in-law, Doralen Mc- Clinton; four grandchildren, Janye Killelea (Rich) of Naperville, IL, Charles McClin- ton, Jr. (Valerie) of Colorado Springs, CO, Rayna McClinton of Tampa, FL, and Grant Mc- Clinton of Birmingham, AL; five great-grandchildren, Charles McClinton, III, Ethan Killelea, Miles McClinton, Elyssa Killelea and Elliot Killelea; cousins left to mourn are: James Washing- ton, The Land Family, The Tim- mons Family of Brooksville, the family of John Andrew Bowden and the late Grace Timmons Bowden along with devoted friends and caretakers, Norma J. Gilbert, Patricia Bryant, Carol Stewart, and Dorothy Williams and Family.
Ann attended Hillsborough County Schools through high school graduation, and later re- ceived her Bachelor’s (B. S.) de- gree from Florida A&M University. She continued grad- uate studies at New York Uni- versity, where she completed a Master’s in Education degree. Since her husband was an offi- cer in the United States Air Force, Ann joined him on many of his assignments that provided opportunities for both of them to travel and live in many places including: China, Denmark, Germany, Great Britain, Japan, France, Sweden and Guam. They also visited Hong Kong and the Philippines. There was also time spent in Riverside, California, where Ann’s teaching expertise was a welcome addition to a school sponsored by the U. S. Department of Interior for Na- tive American children. Ann often recalled working with chil- dren who represented Apache, Hopi and Alaskan tribes. After retirement, she returned to Tampa.
As a longtime member of Greater Bethel Missionary Bap- tist Church, Ann and others or- ganized The Willing Workers Club. She became the first pres- ident of this organization which has as one of its goals to assist bereaved families. As a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, she was a founding member of Beta Sigma Zeta Chapter of Tampa. She was also a member of the following organizations: NAACP (Life Member), MacDill Officers Wives Club, and ACBL and ABA Duplicate Bridge Clubs.
Visitation hours will be from 5-8p.m.andthefamilywillre- ceive friends from 7 - 8 p. m. on Sunday, March 17, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make contributions to the Robert L. and Annie L. Mc- Clinton Education Fund of Greater Bethel Missionary Bap- tist Church. Checks should be made out to the “Greater Bethel Missionary Baptist Church” with “The McClinton Education Fund” listed.

MS. OLIVIA ELAINE SLAUGHTER
Ms. Olivia Elaine Slaughter of Tampa, passed away, Monday, March 4, 2019. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 16th at 11 a. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Pastor Donald Lott, officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Olivia Elaine Slaughter was born in Tampa, Florida to Daniel and Eva Mae McDonald. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Middleton High School.
She was preceded in death by: Shelia Harris (daughter); Daniel McDonald (brother); and Marie Thompson (sister).
She leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Tina Walker (Thomas) of Tallahassee, Florida; sons, Michael Slaughter (Kim) of Newark, NJ, Jeffrey Slaughter of Tampa, Gregory Slaughter (Wendi) of Georgia and Carlton Reed (Cynthia) of Tampa; 18 grandchildren; 37 great-grand- children; 2 great-great-grandchil- dren; 2 nephews; 1 niece; and host of other relatives; special friends, Leatrice Byrd and Eu- ralee Kelly (neighbors).
The remains will repose after 5 p. m. Friday, March 15th at Ray Williams Funeral Home.
