Black Excellence Celebrated The Grand Opening Of Tyler Perry Studios
TYLER PERRY STUDIOS GRAND OPENING
Jada Pinkett Smith Says She's 'Just Now Entering An Adult Relationship' With Will
The stars were out Saturday when Tyler Perry invited hundreds of A-list celebrities to celebrate the grand opening of his studios in Atlanta. The di- rector, screenwriter, producer and playwright made history as the only Black man to own a major movie studio in the U. S.
Perry invited many of his frequent collaborators to his fete, which took place on the
330-acre lot, including Oprah Winfrey, Cecily Tyson, Taraji P. Henson, Jill Scott, Whoopi Goldberg, and Keshia Knight Pulliam.
Other Hollywood heavy- weights came, including Spike Lee, Ava DuVernay, Bey- oncé, Jay Z and Halle Berry, along with politicos such as John Lewis, Bernice King and Stacey Abrams.
Jada Pinkett Smith’s rela- tionship with Will Smith has changed over time, but the two are finally on even ground.
Pinkett Smith, 48, opened up about her marriage to the actor, 50, on Monday’s Red Table Talk. During the episode, she told her mother and cohost Adrienne Banfield-Norris, and guest Chelsea Handler, that she and Smith had finally reached a level of maturity in their relationship.
“I feel that I’m just now en- tering an adult relationship with Will,” Pinkett Smith re- vealed.

Her mother responded with, “Jeez,” as her daughter and Handler laughed.
“After 23 years,” Pinkett Smith added. “We finally are learning to have an adult rela- tionship.”
In August, Pinkett Smith reflected on why she and Smith were so honest about their rela- tionship on her Facebook Watch show, telling Stephen Colbert on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert that they both wanted “to kind of get rid of the idea that people in the public eye have perfect relationships.”
“We were kind of sick of liv- ing up to that,” she said. “We were real sick of it. And then second of all, really having my- self and Will come and talk about our relationship — some- times you see just women do it alone or you just see a guy do it.”

The University of Kansas has issued an apology following Snoop Dogg’s Friday night (October 4) performance at the Allen Fieldhouse.
Organizers of the event were expecting a family-friendly per- formance but instead got several women on stripper poles — and KU’s Director of Athletics Jeff Long reportedly wasn’t im- pressed.
He told TMZ, “I take full re- sponsibility for not thoroughly vetting all the details of the per-

formance and offer my personal family atmosphere at Kansas apology to those who were of- and fell short of that this

evening.”
Travis Scott claims any speculation about him cheat- ing is false. Following his re- cent split with Kylie Jenner, the “Sicko Mode” creator has denied any infidelity during his relationship with the Kar- dashian family socialite.
“It’s really affecting when u see false things said about u once again these false stories about me cheating are just simply not true. Focusing on life, music, and family at this moment is what’s real,” he wrote on his Instagram Stories.
The couple’s split went pub- lic last week and sparked plenty of rumors, including
one about Jenner going on a date with her ex Tyga. Despite the breakup, Scott and Jen- ner appear to be on good terms as they co-parent their daughter Stormi.
“The internet makes every- thing 100 times more dramatic than what it really is,” Jenner wrote on Twitter. “There was no ‘2am date with Tyga.’ You see me drop two of my friends off at a studio that he hap- pened to be at.”
She added, “Travis and i are on great terms and our main focus right now is Stormi!! our friendship and our daughter is priority.”
