Two Women Dead, Person Of Interest In Custody
Two Tampa Men Found Dead In Car
Last Thursday, two Tampa men were found dead in a ve- hicle. The vehicle was located in the 6500 block of N. 24th Street.
According to the Tampa Police Department, officers re- sponded to the location. When they arrived, at approximately 7:42 p.m., they discovered the two adult men had died. There were no signs of trauma and no evidence of foul play.
Police said both men were in their 50s and that a small amount of narcotics were found in the car. The Hillsbor- ough County Medical Exam- iner will determine the cause of death of the men.
The two men have been identified on social media as Ben York and Willie Nelson.

Two Winter Haven women were found dead in a house last week. A person of interest is in custody, but has not been charged in the dou- ble murder.
According to the Winter Haven Police Department, on October 6th, police responded to 127 Avenue V. NW in Win- ter Haven. When they arrived, they discovered the bodies of 23-year-old Chanel Zhane Brown and 42-year-old La- toya Dimitria Owens Grant. Both women had been shot. Ms. Owens Grant lived in the home.

Man Charged With Manslaughter After Victim Dies
case. Davis had reportedly been involved in a distur- bance on August 28th, and dis- played a firearm and indicated, he would “use it.”
Davis surrendered to the Lakeland Police Department
on unrelated charges. He is being held on outstanding warrants from that depart- ment for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and battery. The investigation is continuing.

A 32-year-old Tampa man has been arrested after the man he allegedly struck died. Justin Jasper surrendered to police Friday and is cur- rently being held in the Hills- borough County jail on a $250,000 bond.
According to the Tampa Police Department, around 2;30 a.m., on September 26th, the victim approached an- other man on the sidewalk. The video of the encounter shows the other man ap- peared to be attempting to en- gage the victim in an argument. The victim ap- peared to attempt to avoid the other man. Police have not de- termined what the incident

At some point, a third
man, identified as Justin Jasper, approached the vic- tim and without provocation punched him once. The victim fell and struck his head on the pavement.
He was unconscious when transported to Tampa General Hospital with serious injuries. His condition worsened and he was declared dead six days later, on Tuesday, October 1st, police said.
The victim has been iden- tified on social media as Dyante Neal, 25, of Tampa.
The investigation is con- tinuing and no additional in- formation has been released.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is still searching for a man wanted on several charges, including first-de- gree murder. He was report- edly last seen in the Atlanta, GA area.
The man, identified as Taiwan Blandin, 30, is to be considered armed and dangerous. The public has been warned not to approach him.
Blandin was last seen driving the victim’s 2011 dark red Chevy Cruze with FL tag NAG K37 and tinted windows. HeisaBlackmanwhois6’ tall and weighs 190 lbs.
According to police, Blandin became a suspect in a crime spree around 8 a.m., Tuesday, in Fort Meade. In that city, he is alleged to have sexually battered and then kidnapped a woman. The vic- tim and Blandin know each other. Blandin reportedly drove the woman to Frost- proof, where he committed another crime.
Blandin is accused of killing an 80-year-old woman in her home. The sexual bat- tery victim was able to escape

in his vehicle. However, after the murder, Blandin is al- leged to have stolen the mur- der victim’s vehicle and followed the sexual battery victim back to Fort Meade. At that point, he shot at her. He did not hit the victim.
As he shot at the sexual battery victim, a stray bullet struck an 81-year-old woman in the foot. She is expected to recover from her injuries, po- lice said.
Blandin has reportedly said he will commit suicide or make police kill him.
The warrants for Blandin are for: first degree murder; sexual battery with a deadly weapon; armed kidnapping;

armed burglary with a deadly weapon; grand theft of a firearm; grand theft; arson; and tampering with evidence.
There are also charges pending in Hardee County, police said.
