Dwyane Wade: Meant No Disrespect By Shooting During 'O Canada'
Cavaliers Complete Sweep Of Hawks With One-Point Win
Kevin Love scored 27 points, including tying his career-high with eight 3-pointers.
The Cavaliers advanced to the Eastern Conference finals for the second straight season and await the winner of the Toronto-Miami series. It is the second successive season Atlanta has been swept out of the playoffs by James and the Cavs.
Kyrie Irving scored 21 points and had eight assists, and LeBron James added 21 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists and made a big defen- sive stand on the Hawks' final possession.
With Cleveland leading 100-99 with 10 seconds to play, James tied up Atlanta point guard Dennis Schroder on a drive inside the paint and won the ensuing jump ball to help the Cavs hang on.

Heat center Hassan Whiteside has a sprained MCL in his right knee, the team announced Sunday fol- lowing an MRI.
Whiteside injured his right knee early in the second quarter Saturday and was ruled out for the rest of Game 3 against the Toronto Raptors. He is day-to-day, according to the Heat, but the typical recov- ery time from such injuries is at least a couple of weeks.
The severity of the sprain was not announced.
Whiteside attended Sun- day's practice but was not seen during the portion of the workout that was open to the

media. He was not made available to reporters to discuss his in- jury.
"He had an MRI today that went about as well as could be
expected," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. "Where my mind was, where Hassan's mind was leaving this building [Saturday night], that's about the best news that we can have. He's just going to be doing treatment and a lot of rest."
Dwyane Wade insisted Sunday that he meant no harm and blamed a time- clock management issue for his shooting at the basket during the singing of the Canadian national anthem on Saturday before Miami's home loss to Toronto in Game 3.
Wade received criticism on social media from Raptors fans and some media mem- bers who questioned his deci- sion to take shots while the anthem was played. Wade then stood in line with team- mates when "The Star-Span- gled Banner" was played before the Heat's 95-91 loss.
"It's something that I do before every game that I pre- pare for, and I've been doing

it my whole career," Wade said after the Heat's practice session Sunday at American Airlines Arena. "So I under- stand whatever is said from that standpoint, but I'm not a disrespectful person. So if anybody thinks I'm being dis- respectful towards a country, then they have no idea of who Dwyane Wade is."
