 Lakeland Kiwanis Clubs Stuff The Bus
  On Wednesday, August 4th, the 20th annual Lakeland Kiwanis Clubs ‘Stuff The Bus’ event was held at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, Florida. Lakeland Kiwanis Clubs ‘Stuff The Bus’ event or- ganizer and Kiwanis International Children’s Fund Trustee, Matthew Cantrall; Board of Directors of the Lakeland Kiwanis Club, Ricky Reynolds; President of the Lakeland Kiwanis Club, Jackye Maxey; volunteer, Shandale Terrell and over 100 more volunteers distrib- uted and delivered school supplies to 28 Lakeland (Polk County) El- ementary Schools.
For the ‘Stuff The Bus’ program, the Lakeland Kiwanis Clubs raised $80,000 for school supplies this year. Over the past 20 years, the Lakeland Kiwanis Clubs is nearing $1,000,000 in school supplies, for the Stuff The Bus Program.

Award-winning artist, Deborah Rodriguez returns to Gallery on the Avenue with her new col- lection of photographs, America the Beautiful. Fo- cusing on the art of portraiture, Rodriguez describes America through the faces of her subjects. This collection also includes the photograph, Amer- ica, which was recently selected by Public Broad- casting Service for their book, PBS American Portraits. America the Beautiful will be on exhibit from Monday, June 14 to Thursday, August 26th.
