Top Ladies Of Distinction, Inc. Salutes 2 Of Its Members

The Honorable Melvia B. Green was presented the prestigious “Legal Legend Award” for her many years of matchless service to the legal profession.
The 2016 Legal Legends Award Ceremony was held in Miami on November 3, 2016 by the HistoryMiami Museum and the 11th Judicial Circuit Historical Society.
Lady Melvia has been a loyal member of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. since December 2011 and currently serves as 2nd Vice-President. She is the wife of Lord Joseph Green and mother of Top Teen Lauryn Green.
Lady Gloria Elliott, RN, a member of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc., also since December 2011, was awarded the prestigious “Jessie Trice Award” by the Florida Choice Health Network for her exemplary visionary leadership in providing affordable Health Care to the residents of Hills- borough County.
Lady Gloria currently serves as Recording Secretary and Chaplain. She is well-known for her volunteer efforts and participation in Health Forums in the Tampa Bay area.
The Tampa Bay West Central Florida Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc., would like to congratulate these Top Ladies for their outstanding achievement.

2017 Florida State Fair Vendor And Competitive Exhibit Entry Applications Being Accepted
The Florida State Fair Authority currently is ac- cepting online applications from retail merchants who are interested in being a part of the 113th annual Florida State Fair, slated for February 9 through 20, 2017, in Tampa. As the first state fair of the year, the Florida State Fair is an ideal venue to debut new wares or give loyal customers the opportunity to shop for some of their favorite mer- chandise.
Vendor applications are evaluated on a first come, first served basis. The Florida State Fair offers merchants a variety of ex- hibit space options within an 88,000 square foot in- door retail space and 24,000 square foot indoor space for arts and crafts. Outdoor vendor spaces range in size from 10 to 100 feet of frontage. Specifica- tions and other criteria for each vendor area are listed on the applications.
The Fair Authority also continues to accept compet- itive exhibit entries in cate- gories ranging from baking to wood working to fine arts and more for the upcoming Florida State Fair. In addi- tion to bragging rights, win- ners receive cash prizes and other recognition.
