The Housing Authority of the City of Tampa held its Grand Opening/Rib- bon Cutting Ceremony for the Renais- sance at West River.
The event was held on Thursday, September 24, 2020. The Renaissance at West River is the first new construc- tion at the former North Boulevard Homes site.
Several community persons, in- cluding Mayor Jane Castor were among those in attendance.
The six-story elderly community has 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units. The building will house retail space, com- munity room, fitness center, craft room, salon, multi-purpose room, wellness room, computer lab/library, bicycle racks, and covered parking garage.
The apartments have several amenities, too: solid wood cabinets, granite countertops, vinyl flooring, car- pet/all bedrooms, tiled bathrooms, internet access, air-conditioning/ heating, stainless steel appliances and walk-in closets. (Photographs by Julia Jackson)
