Kanye West Gets His Meeting With Master P Amid Record Label Fight
KANYE WEST
Kanye West was able to
meet with Master P after ex- pressing his desire to link up with No Limit Records founder in September.
In the aftermath of Yeezy’s public crusade against the music industry, P shared a photo of himself with ‘Ye via Instagram on Wednes- day (October 7). P used the post as an opportunity to pro- mote his new cereal Uncle P’s Hoody Hoos.
“Hoody Hoos!! We went from Hip Hop to creating and Selling our own Products!” he wrote in the caption. “@un- clepcereal We changing the Game. Salute all the Vision- ary’s They Can’t Stop Us! #KanyeWest #GodIsReal #OwnerShip
The meeting between P and West took place a few weeks after the latter said he’d been trying to link up with the Hip Hop mogul. Yeezy was interested in talking to P amid issues with Universal Music Group.
“Been trying to connect with Master P and Baby I’ve always felt they understood how to be independent,” West tweeted on September 22.
He added, “I believe Mas- ter P and Uncle Luke we’re

     Quavo Reestablishes His Love
For Quality Control After
 Mismanagement Lawsuit
Quavo is still down with Quality Control, despite Migos’ lawsuit against QC lawyer Damien Grander- son.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday (October 7), Huncho declared his loyalty to the imprint while posing at their office with a ton of cash.
Quavo and his Migos groupmates Offset and Takeoff filed a lawsuit against their longtime lawyer Granderson in July, alleging that while he’s also been QC’s lawyer, he was stiffing the group out of millions in favor of the label.
“Granderson effectively prevented his other client – Migos – from ever being free of paying excessive compensa- tion to QCM, from ever being signed to any other record label, and from ever obtaining negotiating leverage to secure reasonable terms in connec-

tion with the distribution of its musical recordings,” their suit alleged.
QC CEO Pierre “Pee” Thomas commented on the matter days later, calling the suit “unfortunate” and deny- ing any wrongdoing.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z were spotted having a late-night din- ner last Saturday with Bey’s sister, Solange, and two friends at Scarpetta in NoMad.
A spy told us, “They were immediately taken to a private area outside. Jay-Z was seen browsing the wine menu and landed on a nice bottle of red. Beyoncé wore a tan long
jacket, orange hat and snake- skin heels, and made sure to keep her face mask on until her food arrived.”
They had fried chicken, lots of pasta and cheesecake for dessert.
Over the summer, the couple had been yachting around the Hamptons with Twitter boss Jack Dorsey.
Drake's Ovo Is Collaborating With Streetwear Brand Bape
Rumors about Drake’s OVO imprint collaborating with A Bathing Ape turned out to be true. BAPE confirmed the two brands have teamed up for some merchandise in an Instagram post on Tuesday (October 6).
“A BATHING APE® X OC- TOBER’S VERY OWN coming soon @welcomeovo #bape #ovo,” the company revealed.
The rumored collaboration was first hinted at when a pic- ture from a Japanese
streetwear magazine surfaced online in August. The Insta- gram account @ovoupdate shared the image months ago, displaying a variety of items being offered as part of the OVO and BAPE partnership.
T-shirts, hoodies, hats and phone cases are among the merch available, according to the teased image. A camou- flage face mask is also being sold for people looking to stay safe in style during the COVID-19 pandemic.
