The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, October 16th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service. We are following the CDC guidelines.

  PASTOR RUDOLPH ALEXANDER
The Homegoing Celebration for Pastor Rudolph Alexander, who passed away on Friday, Octo- ber 2, 2020, will be held Saturday, October 17, 11:00 a.m., at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Mar- tin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Dr. Bartholomew Banks, pastor of St. John Progressive M. B. Church, officiating. Rudolph “Rudy” Alexander was born September 2, 1941, in Tampa, Florida. He was the Pastor of His Hands Commu- nity Bible Fellowship Church.
Rudolph enjoyed eschatology research, numismatist, and golf.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, James D. Alexander and Katie Bell Graham; brothers, James, Jerome and Arthur Alexander, and sisters, Frances Williams and Evelyn Mifflin.
He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with: his wife, Martha Alexander; children, 3 sons, Rudolph Alexander, Jr., of Tampa, FL; David Alexander (Althea) of W. Orange, NJ and Dr. William Alexander (Parisa) of At- lanta, GA; 2 daughters: Patrice Alexander Ficklin (John) of Bowie, MD; and Aja Coleman (Melvin) of McKinney, TX.; 9 grandchildren, Breanna Sher- man (Scottie), Breanca Smith (Ja- marcus), Joshua Morrisette, Sade Hunter Houston (Rashad), John Alexander Ficklin, Austin Wrory Ficklin, Erishae Alexander, Aaron Christian Coleman and Noah Prince-William Alexander; 4 great grandchildren: Mia Sher- man; Celina Sherman; Jordan Morrisette and Lindsay Smith; brother, Robert Alexander (Mar- quita); a dear cousin, Mary Bates of Miami, FL; other relatives and special friends. We extend heart- felt gratitude to Min. Belinda Williams, a very special relative who has demonstrated love of brethren, care, and overall con- cern for Pastor Rudy and Martha Alexander.

MR. DAVID CHARLES BROWN
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. David Charles Brown, of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Monday, October 5, 2020, will be held on Saturday, October 17th, 11:00 a.m. at Word of His Grace and Truth Ministries, 3001 E. Hanna Ave., Pastor Thomas L. Dozier, officiating.
Mr. David Charles Brown was born June 25, 1941, in Hawkinsville Georgia to Ed Coney and Rosa Talton Brown. He was educated in Lax, Georgia. After moving to Tampa, Florida, he completed his high school ed- ucation. He attended (HCC) Hills- borough Community College and graduated with an AA in Business Administration and a minor in Accounting. He was employed at Dixie Linen and later at Tampa General Hospital, where he be- came department head of textile linen service for 30 years.
He served as president of Tex- tile services. He was the gospel announcer for WTMP for 17 years, and one of Tampa Greatest Gospel announcers. He will be re- membered as the voice of the bay. He was also a member of the Leg- ends of Tampa Bay.
David was preceded in death by: his father and mother, Ed Coney and Rosa Talton Brown; five brothers, Fred, Jim, Thomas, Mansfield and John Brown; step- son, Jonathan Fountain; and son-
MRS. SARAH ELIZABETH LASSITER CHILDS PHILLIPS
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Lassiter Childs Phillips, who passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2020, will be held Friday, October 16th, 10:00 a.m., at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Rev. Mark T. Jones, pastor of The Center for Manifestation, officiating.
Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Lassiter Childs Phillips was born to the union of the late Reverend William Edward Lassiter and Annie Pearl Longwood on Decem- ber 16, 1925.
She was preceded in transition by: all of her siblings, Gladys Cor- ney, Frances Gaston, William Las- siter, Anne Thompson, Edward Lassiter, Mabel Harley, Clara Billingsley and James Lassiter.
Sarah received her formal ed- ucation from the public-school system of Philadelphia, Pennsyl- vania, graduating in 1944.
She accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of her fa- ther, founder and pastor of Little David Baptist Church of Philadel- phia, Pennsylvania in 1954.
While living in Philadelphia, Sarah met and married James B. Childs from Bowling Green, Vir- ginia, and from that union she was blessed with two daughters.
In 1976, Sarah married her long time, friend Adolph Phillips, Jr., of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who has preceded her in passing.
Upon retirement in 2008, Sarah moved to Tampa, Florida, to be near her daughter, Karen. She joined Revealing Truth Ministries and served God faithfully in many ministry departments.
Sarah had many passions in life, including singing to the glory of God and sewing were her great- est. She was best known for her sound advice and her “telling it like it is” enlightenments.
She was also preceded in death by: her granddaughter, Tanika Hogue.
She leaves to cherish her memories with her daughters, Brenda L. Childs Terrell-Hogue and Karen E. Childs-Myall; son-in- law, Gregory Hogue; grandchil- dren, Rick Terrell, Kareem Terrel, Tinishia Terrell, Kimberly Myall, Desi Hogue, Marshall Hogue, Takira Hogue, Amira Hogue, Josiah Hogue, Daniel Hogue, great grandchildren, Amber Ter- rell, Tajah Batan, Tamir Ter- rell, Gionni Terrell, Abria Terrell, Aliya Terrell, and Melody Myall; great, great grandchild, Sonye Terrell; and a host of other rela- tives and friends.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Fri- day for the service. We are follow- ing the CDC guidelines.

MR. ERNEST LEE MOORE
Funeral Services for Mr. Ernest Lee Moore of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2020, was held on Wednesday, Sep- tember 30th, at 11:00 a.m. at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. The inter- ment followed.
Ernest Lee Moore was born on June 1, 1927 to the parents of Charles Moore and Clara (Mann) Moore in Mount Ver- non Hospital, in Mount Vernon, New York. His parents are from Plymouth, North Carolina. He was also known as “Big Ernest” and “Cheese.”
In his leisure time, he en- joyed baseball, bowling, watch- ing wrestling and playing lotto and bingo. Ernest had a huge heart and would always give his time and money to family and friends with no questions asked.
Ernest served in the United States Army. He co-owned Towne Blinds with his best friend, James, in Yonkers, New York.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Harriet (Patrick) Moore; his two children, Ernest Douglas Moore and Diane (Moore) Shelton; his five broth- ers, James, Ardise, Charlie, Cleophus and sister, Emma (Moore) Blount.
Ernest is survived by: two sons, Dwight and Dwayne Moore and daughter, Lisa Moore; two grandchildren, De- siree and Michael Moore; six great grandchildren, Devon, Desiree, Ian, Madison Moore and Robert and Darrell Gor- don; five great, great grandchil- dren, Ian, Mason, Janelys Moore and Jocelyn and Josias Gordon; two nieces, Erin Jo Tompkins and Barbara Hodges and families; sister-in-law, Ann (Patrick) Banks Clark and best friend, James Frances.
