MRS. ANNIE COOPER-COCHRAN
A Celebration of Life service for Mrs. Annie (Ann) Cochran- Cooper who passed on Thursday, August 24, 2017 will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 11 a. m. at Peace Progressive Mis- sionary Baptist Church, 2607 East 24th Avenue,Tampa, Florida with Bishop Sylvester Robinson, offici- ating Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ann was preceded in death by: her husband, Nathaniel Cooper; her father, maternal and paternal grandparents; sister, Janice Cochran; 1 uncle, Rubell.
She leaves to cherish memories of her with: son, DeAndre Jack- son; mother, Recy Jo Cochran; 2 sisters, Ruby Cochran and Sharon (Billy) Harrison; 2 brothers, Henry Cochran (JR) and James (Kimberly) Cochran; mother-in- law, Louise Mitchell; 3 sisters-in- law, Laverne (Lucious), Deborah (Lee) and Shanta (Greg); 2 broth- ers-in-law, Otis (Shelia) and William (Amie); special grand- son, Rayshaud; 5 nieces, Kerria, Zada, Tiara, Asia and Nicole; 3 nephews, James, Jr., Henry, III, and Anthony; 5 aunts, Francis (Roger), Martha, Edna, Annette (Charles) and Bertha (F. J.); 7 un- cles, Grady (Ruth), Roosevelt (Carolyn), James (Rose), Willie (Earlene), Johnny (Jo- eretha), Jerry (Tan) and Buford (Eva); a host of loving great nieces, great nephews and cousins; godchild, Jason Seay; special friends, Beth, Lori, Rose- mary, Ms. Sarah, Mabel, LaVera, Kenneth Jackson; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Sister Annie Pearl Cochran- Cooper was born on May 20, 1959 in Tampa, FL, to the late Mr. Henry Coleman Cochran, Sr. and Sis. Recy Jo Cochran. She was the third child of six born to this union. Ann was educated in the public schools system of Hillsbor- ough County School District. She was a graduate of C. Leon King High School, Class of 1977. She continued her education at Hills- borough Community College and graduated with an Associate in Business Management.
At an early age, Ann gave her life to the Lord while attending Peace Progressive Missionary Baptist Church. She was an active member of Goins Choir and the Finance Committee. She recently retired from the University of South Florida in the Student Health Services with 35 years of service and also 21 years of serv- ice from Dillard’s Inc.
There will be a viewing on Fri- day September 1, 2017 from 5 – 7 p. m. with the family present to re- ceive friends from 6 – 7 p. m. at Peace Progressive M. B. Church.
Friends are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday at ap- proximately 10:45 a. m. for the service.

MR. WILLIS HARRIS
Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Willis Harris, who passed away, Monday, August 21, 2017, will be held Saturday, Septem- ber 2, 2017 at 2 p. m. at College Hill Church of God in Christ, 6414 N. 30th St., Tampa, FL 33610, with Superintendent Charles Davis, Pastor, officiat- ing. Interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Willis Harris was born and reared in Douglas, Georgia to the union of Sammie and Izolla Harris. He was married to Fay and to that union two chil- dren were born, Antoni and Telicia. Mr. Harris was em- ployed with the City of Tampa for 33 years and owned Big Will’s Barbeque for 15 years.
He leaves to cherish his memories: devoted wife, Fay; three children, Willis (Lacre- tia), Antoni and Telicia; mother, Izolla; five sisters, Ella Thomas, Gussie Brown, Everlene (Kenny), Evelyn and Jennifer; five brothers, Arthur (Geral- dine), Eddie (Theresa), Rufus (Rose), Danny (Pamela) and Troy; grandchildren, Willis Harris, Brielle Walker, Travell Harris, Brenden Jones and Brandalyn Jones; mother-in- law, Lorene Orr; sister-in-law, Emma Thomas (Jessie); broth- ers-in-law, Nathaniel Sims, Jr., Lorenzo Sims and Michael Sims and many other relatives and friends.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m. Friday, September
1, 2017 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, and the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p. m. at the Chapel.

MR. TOMMY EARL CURRY
Mr. Tommy Earl Curry, 56, of Valrico, passed away Thurs- day, August 24, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted Sat- urday, September 2 at 11 a. m. at Bell Shoals Baptist Church, 2102 Bell Shoals Road, Bran- don, FL 33511.
Mr. Curry was a native of Bellwood, Illinois and a resident of Tampa for 23 years. He was a graduate of Proviso East High School and furthered his educa- tion at Triton Jr. College. Mr. Curry attended Bell Shoals Bap- tist Church and was employed as a Orthopedic Technician for 10 years at The Florida Orthope- dic Institute.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Caroline Denise Curry; one son, Nicholas Re’Shun Curry; and one daugh- ter, Chloee’ Denise Curry; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m., Friday, September 1 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.

MR. JAMES MONTGOMERY
Funeral service for Mr. James Montgomery who passed away on August 24, 2017, will be held on Saturday September 2, 2017 at 11 a. m. at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Perry Floyd, officiating. Military honors will be con- ducted by the United States Army.
Mr. Montgomery was pre- ceded in death by: his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Agusta (Odessa) Montgomery.
He leaves to cherish pre- cious memories of him with: a beloved girlfriend, Crystal Jones; two children, daughter, Brenda Harper Conrod of Long Beach, CA (Ronnie); and son, Shannon Simmon Montgomery (Asya) of Tampa, FL; grand- kids, Jarell Wright, Kenyonta Carter, Shannon, Jr., and Oc- tavia Montgomery; two broth- ers, Agustar (Cathy) and Isaiah Montgomery; nephews, Agus- tar Montgomery, Jr., Calston Young and Ryan Montgomery; nieces, Alecia Montgomery, Barbara Ann Johnson, GeGe Montgomery and Lynn Young; great nephews, Agustar Mont- gomery, III and Calston Young, Jr;. and other relatives and friends.
Mr. James Montgomery was born on August 30, 1954 in Itta Bena, Mississippi to the parent- age of Mr. and Mrs. Agusta (Odessa) Montgomery. James attended the public schools in Mississippi. Mr. Montgomery joined the military at a young age. After retiring from the mil- itary he received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Army.
He resided in Miami, Florida for a short period prior to mov- ing to Tampa in 1969, where he remained a resident until his demise.
There will be a viewing on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 5 – 8 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home.
