B. K. A., MR. YOGI
3-22-1971 to 4-2-2003
Well Yogi, here we are again another sad Father’s Day, one that should al- ways be happy.
Here we are 14 years later since your life has been stolen from us sense- lessly and haven’t been ac- counted for, cowardly and it’s a damn shame!!! And it’s pathetic that we haven’t gotten any HELP, any COMFORT, any JUSTICE, and any PEACE!!! But I’m gonna keep fighting until God grants me a convic- tion!!!
Our mother, father and immediate family keeps gathering around at family meetings to discuss you and your murder case and
our conclusions are always still the same. Why hasn’t anyone been caught and charged with our family member’s murder? I mean, what is the hold up?!!
Our mother just keeps crying saying, “Why hasn’t my child’s murder been solved, and is my child’s death ever gonna get solved and will it get solved before God calls me home,” in tears. She cries year after year and especially on holi- days.
“This is my child, he’s very important to me; I car- ried him for 7 months, he was an early, pre-mature baby and the only pre-ma- ture baby I had out of all my kids, he was left-handed and very special!!!”
So with that being said, what a Father’s Day!!!
And we cry out loud for help and a conviction or con- victions. The piper must pay the price!!! The piper is the murderer! I love my Brutha and I miss my Brutha very deeply!!
We went from tricycles to bicycles and now we ain’t even making it to wheel- chairs together. This breaks my heart so bad because me and Yogi grew up like twins. We were a pack and still are!!! My other half is gone
from me, half of me has been killed!!
We love you soooo much, Yogi, and we miss you deeply, dearly. So fly high with the angels and stay with us forever. You’re never forgotten and always you are thought about!!! You are forever in our hearts, Boo!! R.I.P. AND S.I.P. my dear sweet, handsome Brutha. Shine bright Babe’s.
Your nephews always ask about you and your son misses you dearly and he really needs you in his life!!! He loves you so much. Stay with him al- ways!
What a Father’s Day. Sadness!!! But we tend to have happy thoughts. Love you and miss you dearly, your Big Susta, T. O., and your Brutha, A. C.
Forever O’Neal Baby! We need Justice!!!
I thank God for always granting me the opportu- nity to represent you, my Yogi. Amen.
A Father’s Day tribute to my Brutha, Mr. Yogi, and also Happy Father’s Day to my Daddy, Mr. Nathaniel R. O’Neal, Jr.,
B.K.A., Mr. Juke. We love you Dad.
