Ben Roethlisberger In Walking Boot, But Says He'll Play In Kansas City
BEN ROETHLISBERGER
Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger appeared in a walking boot on his right foot after Sunday's 30-12 victory over the Miami Dolphins in the AFC wild-card.
Roethlisberger told re- porters he doesn't know the nature of the injury, but he said he won't miss time.
"We will find out soon, hopefully," Roethlisberger said. "You're always worried about being hurt, but I'll be out there next week."
The Steelers next play the Kansas City Chiefs in Sunday's divisional round.
Le'Veon Bell Torches Dolphins For Steelers Playoff- Record 167 Yards
LE'VEON BELL
Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell has rewritten the record books once again, breaking the franchise's sin- gle-game postseason rushing mark in Sunday's 30-12 AFC wild-card victory.
Bell torched the Miami Dolphins for 167 yards and two touchdowns on 29 carries, surpassing Steelers great Franco Harris, who rushed for 158 yards in Super Bowl IX in 1975.
Bell, the 11th player in Steelers playoff history with at least two rushing touchdowns in a game, also owns the fran- chise's single-game regular- season record, with 236 yards against the Buffalo Bills in Week 14.
Bell said he was told he broke the record late in the third quarter Sunday and "it kind of blew me away" -- espe- cially in his playoff debut after back-to-back knee injuries ended his 2014 and 2015 sea- sons prematurely.
Sentinel Picks Clemson To Win Title Game
The Associated Press on Friday announced their All- Pro team, which includes three Tampa Bay Buccaneers players on the second-team: Gerald McCoy, Mike Evans and Lavonte David.
McCoy gets his fourth nod after a season in which he registered seven sacks, fourth most for defensive tackles, and 34 tackles. The Bucs cap- tain nearly replicated his numbers from a season ago, making up for one and a half less sacks with two forced fumbles and five pass deflec- tions, a particularly impres- sive stat for a defensive tackle.
As for Mike Evans, this is his first All-Pro selection in three years. He established himself as an elite receiver in 2016, catching 96 passes for 1,321 yards, both career
highs, and 12 touchdowns. Evans, who caught a league- most 81 passes for first downs, was fourth in the league in yards, sixth in catches and tied for second in scores. Along with McCoy, Evans was also selected to the Pro Bowl in Orlando this year.
The final Bucs honoree, David, had a season of splash plays. While his tackle numbers were significantly down from his previous four seasons – 87 compared to at least 140 in all other years – the outside linebacker forced four fumbles and took an in- terception back for six in San Diego, the turning point in a close game. He also had five sacks in Mike Smith’s mul- tiple defense, including two in the season finale against Carolina.
Each week during the sea- son, the USA TODAY Sports college reporters provided answers to an intriguing question from college foot- ball. This week — the final week — they answer the ulti- mate question:
Who wins the title game and how will it happen?
Clemson. Normally, you can't pick against Nick Saban in a championship game like this but, normally, he’d never swap out an offen- sive coordinator a week be- fore a championship game.
That bit of upheaval gives me pause about Alabama, particularly after seeing how stagnant its offense can be against a good defensive front.
Clemson is so solid on both sides of the ball, and there’s no quarterback in the country I would have had more confi- dence in against 'Bama’s dizzying defense than De- shaun Watson — who should have won the Heis- man this year, by the way.
Sentinel takes the Tigers in this one, 34-27.

Allegedly Body-Slamming
Actress Paula Trickey
Warren Sapp has dealt with several issues in his personal life over the past few years, and he can now add being sued by an actress to that list.
According to a lawsuit ob- tained by Jose Lambiet of the Miami Herald, Sapp is being sued by Paula Trickey for an alleged inci- dent that took place during Super Bowl Week in Scotts- dale two years ago. Trickey, who has been in a number of television series in addition to such films as “Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2” and “Attack of the 50-Foot Cheerleader,” claims Sapp slammed into her and knocked her to the ground at an ESPN-hosted party on Jan. 31, 2015.
The lawsuit states that Sapp “struck (Trickey) with his body” while intoxi- cated and then quickly left the party. Trickey says she suffered “severe bodily in- juries” and still experiences pain to this day.
“There are places in my

body I didn’t know existed that are still hurting two years later,” the 50-year-old actress said. “I’ve had con- stant pain shooting through my body since.”
Trickey described Sapp as “pretty tanked that night” and said she was not sur- prised to learn the former NFL star had been arrested two days later. We’ll get to that in a bit.
Sapp took to Twitter on Wednesday to deny the ac- cusations from Trickey. In fact, he claims he wasn’t even at the ESPN party the night she was allegedly run over.
Game With Rib Injury
Green Bay Packers receiver Jordy Nelson was knocked out of Sunday's wild-card game against the New York Giants with a rib injury in the second quarter.
Nelson took a shot to the midsection from Giants safety Leon Hall after Nel- son dropped a pass along the sideline. Nelson was dou- bled over in front of the Pack- ers' bench before he was finally helped up and took a seat. Shortly after that, he was taken in for further ex- amination.
His return was initially listed as questionable, but the Packers ruled him out shortly

after halftime. Nelson had one catch for 13 yards before he departed.
Nelson caught 97 passes for 1,257 yards and 14 touch- downs in the regular season after missing all of 2015 be- cause of a torn ACL in his right knee.
