Organization Plans 7th Annual Community Festival

On Monday, January 16th, the East Tampa Business & Civic Association will host its 7th Annual Community Festival. The event will take place at the Belmont Heights Little League Park, 2101 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Boulevard.
Ms. Ebone Cruz and BiggWord will serve as the Mistress and Master of Cer- emonies. The event will have live performances be- ginning at 10 a.m.
Ms. Dianne Hart, CEO of the East Tampa Business & Civic Association said, “We want everyone to come out and enjoy themselves. We have events planned for every segment of the popu- lation.
“Come join us as various artists, choirs, dancers, and other performers take to the stage and share their tal- ents.”
Ms. Hart further said that all who attend the event will have an opportu- nity to win gifts or cash prizes.

The Annual Gospel Ex- plosion will kick off the event. During the program, the late Ms. Shelia Up- shaw will be remembered. Ms. Upshaw was a mother, gospel artist, and entrepreneur. She passed August 30, 2015.
The program will also feature Deacon Darrious Bryant, who will deliver the speech, “I Have A Dream,” by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
