He would tweet an apology to Paul on Thursday, saying that "emotions got the best of me."
Hockey Goalie Dies Of Chest Trauma From Fireworks Blast
MATISS KIVLENIEKS
Columbus Blue Jackets goalie Matiss Kivlenieks died in a tragic accident on Sunday, and new information has been released about the in- cident that led to his death.
Police in Novi, Mich., said Monday morning that Kivle- nieks died after he fell and hit his head while fleeing a hot tub during a “firework malfunc- tion.” It’s unclear if Kivle- nieks fell and hit his head, but an autopsy has revealed that Kivlenieks was actually killed by an errant firework.
A medical examiner in Michigan says Kivlenieks “died of chest trauma from an errant fireworks mortar blast” and not from a fall.
Kivlenieks was 24.

Shaquille O'Neal, NBA legend, four-time NBA cham- pion, and roving do-gooder is under-reporting good deeds.
The former Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat star said in a November, 2020, episode of "Million Dollaz Worth of Game" podcast that he goes into stores looking to help mothers who might need it. Police are trying to find out who killed three men -- including golf pro Gene Siller -- whose bodies were found on the grounds of an Atlanta-area country club.
Cobb County police re- sponded to a report of a per- son shot around 2:20 p.m. Saturday and found Siller near the green of the 10th hole of the Pinetree Country Club in Kennesaw, where he worked as the golf pro, ac- cording to a news release from the police department.
Siller, Pinetree's director of golf, was found unrespon- sive with an "apparent gun- shot wound to the head" and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The suspect had driven to the green in a white Ram 3500 pickup truck and shot 41-year-old Siller when he went to see what was going on, a member of the club told CNN affiliate WXIA. The suspect then fled, WXIA re- ported.

Marv Albert Gives
Sendoff After Announcing
Final NBA Game
Last Saturday night’s Game 6 of the Eastern Confer- ence finals did not just mark the end of the series between the Atlanta Hawks and Mil- waukee Bucks. It did not mark just the end of TNT’s coverage of NBA games for the season, either. It notably marked the final NBA game of Marv Al- bert’s career.
Albert, 80, is retiring from his role as the lead an- nouncer for TNT’s NBA cover- age. After the game concluded, analyst Reggie Miller gave a farewell to Al-

bert, who provided his send-
off as well.
Albert has called NBA
games since 1963. He has been a big part of the NBA’s history on TV, as he has called national games for NBC and TNT for over 30 years.
Nate McMillan Agrees To
Become Full-Time Head
Coach Of Hawks
Nate McMillan took over as the interim head coach of the Atlanta Hawks when Lloyd Pierce was fired back in March. As you might ex- pect, McMillan is going to be sticking around.
Hawks general manager Travis Schlenk told re- porters that an agreement was reached on Monday morning to make McMillan the team’s full-time head coach. The new deal is for four years.
Pierce was fired after the Hawks began the season 14- 20. They immediately went on an eight-game winning streak when McMillan was pro- moted to interim head coach. Atlanta then became one of the biggest surprises in the

NBA, securing the No. 5 seed in the Eastern Conference and falling just two wins short of reaching the NBA Finals.
The Hawks went 27-11 under McMillan during the regular season and then went on a deep playoff run. They also snapped a four-year post- season drought for the fran- chise. The decision to keep McMillan was likely a very easy one.
