BOYD
MR. CARLTON EDWARD BREVARD
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Carlton Edward Brevard, who passed away on June 27, 2021, will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at 2 p.m., at St. John Cathedral, 3401 E. Bishop Newkirk Way, Tampa, FL 33605. Interment will take place at Rest Haven Memorial Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, 33610. The repast will be held at the church.
Mr. Brevard was born Septem- ber 25, 1965, in Newark, NJ to Mar- ion and Melva Brevard. He was reared and educated in Tampa, FL, where he graduated from Brandon High School. He pursued his pas- sion as a m0del, musician playing the saxophone, as an artist, and then furthered his education in Cosmetology.
He relocated to Atlanta, GA, to become an entrepreneur owning and operating a successful hair salon named, Salon Color Code. He was featured in Essence Magazine in January 1997 as 1 of the top 5 hair salons in Georgia.
He was featured as a top stylist in the Bonner Brothers Hair Show, which is the largest Black hair company in the country.
He continued his career as a hair stylist and barber by joining forces with other salons in the At- lanta area for over 25 years.
His favorite past times were fishing, golfing, playing poker, watching sports, and spending time with his friends and family.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Marion N. Brevard.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory, his loving mother, Melva C. Brevard, Brandon, FL; and 4 chil- dren,TerrenceGeromeHamerter, Sherrick De’Andre Brevard, both of Tampa, Nicholas Marion Bre- vard and Kobe Niles Brevard, both of Woodstock, GA. He has 5 grand- children, Tyrese Hamerter, Nasir Hamerter, Lazayla Hamerter, Achara Brevard, and Olivia Ann Brevard; 3 siblings, Cassaundra Brevard-Niblack (Gerald), of Woodstock, GA, Jacques Maurice Brevard (Katherine), of Valrico, FL, and Monique Brevard-Screen (Joseph, Sr.,), of Seffner, FL; a de- voted ex-wife, Louvenia Brevard, Woodstock, GA; 3 nephews, Bran- don Jon-Christopher McNabb, Kennesaw, GA, Joseph Screen, II, and Joshua Julius Screen, both of Seffner; 2 nieces, Akayla J. Jim- mar, Valrico, and Nina Melva Niblack, Woodstock, GA; 3 uncles, Ramon C. The wake will take place on Fri- day, July 9, 2021, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, FL 33605.

MR. KENNETH ULYSESS FINNEY
A Celebration of life Service for Mr. Kenneth Ulysess Finney, who passed away June 25, 2021, will be held Saturday July 10, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at Emmanuel Church of Deliverance Apostolic Faith, Inc., 1110 E. Yukon St. Tampa, Florida, 33604. Bishop Willie White, Pastor.
Kenneth Ulysess Finney was born on january 6, 1959. He was born in Tampa, Florida, and was educated in Hillsborough County Schools. He lived his entire adult life in Ybor City. On June 25th 2021, at 5:30 a.m., Kinney was summoned home to his eternal rest.
Kinney was a gentle soul who loved people and enjoyed hanging out with friends and doing yard work
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hattie Mae and Albert C. Finney, devoted grandmother, Alberta Knights; nephew, Gerard R. Williams; aunt, Barbara Felton; uncle, cousin, Willie Johnson and Darrell T. Jones..
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: 1 daughter Katurah McNeal; 2 sisters, Cheryl (Tammy) Williams and Jackie Finney, 1 devoted niece, Dr. Viandrea W. Lowman Ph.D; great nieces, Johanna Low- man and Bahiya Woods; great nephew, Michael E. Hamilton, Jr.,. Retired Sergeant Major Michael R. MR. WILLIE ‘FLOYD’ HARRIS
Mr. Willie “Floyd” Harris of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021. Funeral Services will be private.
Mr. Harris was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida. He attended the Hills- borough County Public Schools. He was employed as a Cook/Chef at various neighborhood and community stores.
Mr. Floyd was known as the “Steak Sandwich Man.” Everyone enjoyed his sandwiches and he made it just the way you liked it.
He had a mean look, but a big heart and would do whatever he could for you.
He had many friends and was able to make you smile even if he didn’t know you. He loved his family and never forgot about any of us. He will truly be missed. He was a very kind and wonderful person. If you didn’t know him, you missed out on his steak sand- wiches. He will forever be in our hearts and always on our minds.
Floyd was preceded in death by: his mother, Flora Harris; and brother, Anthony Gregory Si- mons.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ories: his sons, Billy Harris, Al- fonso Harris and Alonzo Harris; daughter, Deloris; special friend, Sophia Perry; brothers, Wilton, Derrick and Ellis; sisters, Florine and Jacqueline; sisters-in-law, Shirley and Cheryl Williams; brothers-in-law, Herbert, Sidney Williams and Willie Albury, Jr.; special niece, Shakita; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, great grandchil- dren and family. MRS. GLORIA JEAN HARRIS FOSTER
Mrs. Gloria Jean Harris Fos- ter, of Tampa, Florida passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 10, at 11:00 a.m. at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church, 8525 N. 78th Street, Temple Terrace, FL, 33637, with Minister Andre Saunders, officiating. MASKS ARE REQUIRED. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Mrs. Gloria Foster was born on December 24, 1941, to Ira and Ade- line Harris. She was a lifelong na- tive of Tampa for 79 years and was educated in the Hillsborough County Public Schools, graduating from Howard W. Blake High School.
She committed herself to Christ at a young age. She was em- ployed by Honeywell for over 30 years.
She was a devoted member of New Salem Missionary Baptist Church, serving as a Trustee and was deeply rooted in the Choir.
Mrs. Gloria loved her family and her extended Church family.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Mr. Ira Harris and mother, Adeline Harris; husband, Nathaniel Foster; daughters, Na- talie Foster and Cheryl Graham.
She leaves to cherish her mem- ories: her devoted, loving daugh- ter, Anita Foster; two grandsons, Marcus Sapp and DeRon Graham; great granddaughter, Chloe Sapp; two brothers, Elbert Harris, of Newark, New Jersey, and Elder Harry L. Harris (Deborah); one sister, Frances Boykins of East Or- ange, New Jersey; two brothers- in-law, Louis Foster (Mildred) and Ben Foster; sister-in-law, Naomi Harris, of South Carolina; the Shannon Family and a host of nieces, nephews and the New Salem Family; devoted friends, Helen Brown and Viola Wallace.

Ms. Joyce Hinton was a na- tive of Florida and a resident of Tampa for 65 years. She was born to Dan J. Manning and Edith Brinson Manning.
Joyce was a graduate of Blake High School, Class of 1965. After graduation, Joyce was employed by GTE Tele- phone Company. After retiring from GTE, Joyce attended Brew- ster Vocational Tech receiving a degree in Cosmetology, Comput- ers and Psych Tech.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Dan Manning; mother, Edith Brinson Man- ning; and grandson, Raymond J. Thompson.
She leaves to cherish her memory: four children, Leslie Y. Lovett of Tampa, FL, Earl M. Richardson of Columbus, GA, Dan J. Richardson of Killeen, Texas and Andre D.
