Feds Use Instagram To Bust Rappers’ ‘Lean’ Dealing Friend, ‘Cuban Harry’ Garcia
There is no doubt ‘liquid promethazine’ or ‘lean’ has be- come the high of choice for many rappers in this era. How- ever, those who partake in the illegal substance may want to chill out on the social media posts.
According to a report from the Miami Herald, the U.S. Homeland Security Investiga- tion agents used the Instagram account of Chris Brown, Fu- ture and Lil Wayne associate Harrison Garcia a.k.a. Cuban Harry a.k.a. Muhammad A Lean to bust him for his connection to nu- merous robberies of that pur- ple drank from various Miami CVS and Walgreens stores.
Those posts on Instagram made him a target and allowed authorities to obtain a warrant

for his arrest. In the news re- port, Garcia was also al- legedly caught selling liquid promethazine to federal agents on video.
Talking in front of a federal judge Monday (January 23), the 27-year-old said the Insta- gram posts were just to in- crease his followers.
Speaking with the judge, he also called himself an addict of the drug.
“People like it in the studio because when you record your songs, it helps your voice.”
Garcia’s trial is set for Feb- ruary 6 where he faces charges stemming from the robberies and racketeering.
The 3 films have multiple nominations. Denzel Washington and Viola Davis received the Best Actor and Best Supporting Actress nods for ‘Fences’.
The Oscar controversy that lead to the social media cam- paign #OscarSoWhite cam- paign last year has been diverted with numerous Black films and actors being among the nominated on Tuesday.
One of the nominations on Tuesday’ was also historic. Denzel Washington’s Oscar nomination for Best Actor for his role in “Fences” makes him the only Black actor to land 7 Oscar nominations.
This is a historic achievement for the 62-year-old movie star, according to the Huffington Post.
The Oscars have also moved past two #OscarsSoWhite years by honoring 6 Black actors — a
record — and 3 films “Moon- light,” “Fences” and “Hidden Figures” are all nominated in the best picture race. All three films are also nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay. Oc- tavia Spencer, Mahershala Ali, Naomi Harris and Viola Davis are up for the Best Supporting Actor And Ac- tress nomination.
Four of the five documen- taries honored by the Academy – including Ava DuVerney’s 13th and I Am Not Your Negro by Raoul Peck – were by black film-makers.
The 89th Academy Awards will be held on February 26 in Los Ange- les.

Gucci Mane is ready to get 2017 roaring as he announced the title of his first project of the New Year today (January 24). The album is called DropTop- Wizop, based off one of his many nicknames, and does not have a release date, but is “com- ing soon.”
After his release from prison last year, Guwop released three studio albums — Every- body Looking, Woptober and The Return of East Atlanta Santa, which he said was going to be the Album of the Year. Unfortunately, the last project was not on anybody’s awards lists.
