MR. NATHANIEL JEROME WAITERS, SR.
Mr. Nathaniel Jerome Wait- ers, Sr. of Tampa passed away Monday, January 23, 2017. Fu- neral services will be con- ducted Saturday, January 28, at11a.m.atMountOliveA.M. E. Church, 1902 W. LaSalle Street, with Reverend Gregory V. Gay, Sr., Pastor, officiating. Interment will be held Mon- day, January 30, at 11 a. m. at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
Mr. Waiters was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa. He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Don Thompson High School, Class of 1947, known now as Howard W. Blake High School. He was a United States Army Veteran and Mr. Waiters re- tired as a Skycap from Delta Airlines.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Brewer Joseph “Joe” Waiters and Edna Beat- rice DeNeal-Waiters; step- mother, Idella Thomas Waiters; and brother, Tyrone Stone Waiters.
He leaves to cherish his memory: son, Nathaniel Jerome Waiters, Jr. of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; two daugh- ters, Cynthia Yvette Cooper of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Debra Hammond of Atlanta, GA; 3 grandchildren, Brandi Cooper, Denelle (Donte) Robinson, and Dephnie (Quinn) Hammond Jones; 4 great-grandchildren, Deron, Aniyah, Andre and Chace; nieces, Lakeisha Walker, Troya Walkers, Tere’za Walker, Natah’za Walker and Brianna Wheeler; 4 nephews, Donta Walker, Da- vanta Walker, Marcus Walker and Anthony Pressley; special cousin/caretaker, Sheila Pressley; special friend, Lenora Brady; longtime friends, Tony Washington, Sam Shields, Clifton and Mar- garet Williams; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends

MR. HENRY LEE HOLDER, JR.
Homegoing celebration for Mr. Henry Lee Holder, Jr. who passed away on January 14, 2017, will be held on Saturday January 28, 2017 at 10 a. m. at Grace Mary Missionary Baptist Church, 3901 N. 37th Street, Tampa, with the Pastor, Elder James R. Reed, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Mr. Holder was preceded in death by: his father, Henry Lee Holder, Sr.; brother, Donald Daniels; paternal grandpar- ents, Willie and Bertha Holder; maternal grandparents, Ulysee and Flossie Harris.

Mr. Henry Lee Holder, Jr. was born in Tampa, on March 21, 1963 to the late Henry Lee Holder, Sr. and Minister Lillie Walker. He was raised by Min- ister Joseph Walker. Mr. Holder attended the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Robinson High School, Class of 1981. After graduating from high school he enlisted into the U. S. Army. He later furthered his education at Hillsborough Community College.
He accepted our Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at the age of 13 and was baptized at Grace Mary M. B. Church under the leadership of Rev. B. T. Williams. He married the love of his life, Gail Johnson in 1983 and they were blessed with four wonderful children. He was a dedicated employee with the Hillsborough County School Board for over 30 years prior to his retirement.
There will be a viewing from 5–8 p.m. Friday at Wilson Fu- neral Home. Friends are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday at approximately 9:45 a. m. for the service.

Mr. Willie Bodden “Barton” Sims entered this world in Tampa, FL on March 17, 1926, the eldest child born to Pauline Sims. Educated in the Negro Schools of Hillsborough County (Helping Hand Day Nursery, Harlem Elementary and Booker T. Washington School). Mr. Sims chose to en- list in the United States Navy at the age of 16.
After returning from WWII, he ventured to Chicago, IL and enrolled in “The Chicago Insti- tute of Cooking.” Barton re- turned to Florida where he and Henry Willis opened Henry N Will Bar-B-Cue Specialist at Club Rio.
Willie was a member of St. Paul A. M. E. Church for many years. He began his career at St. Joseph Hospital on 7th Av- enue. He ascended to the rank of Pastry Chef then he was pro- moted to Manager of the Bak- ing Department and Chief Pastry Chef. It was here that he met his wife of forty-five years, Sarah Louise Walker Clark. They were married in Tampa, in August, 1964 until her death in October 2009.
There will be viewing on Fri- day, January 27, 2017 from 5– 8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home. Friends are asked to as- semble at the funeral home at approximately 11:45 a. m. Sat- urday for the service.
