Before news even broke that Bad Boys For Life had a huge win at the box office, Sony an- nounced that a fourth film is on the way.
The third film in the fran- chise, which opened in theaters last Friday, earned more than $68 million over the four-day Martin Luther King Jr. holi- day weekend, reports Forbes.
It makes Bad Boys For Life, where Will Smith and Martin Lawrence reprised their roles as two best friend cops Mike Lowry and Marcus Burnett respectively, the second-largest film opening in January of all time.
Sony also revealed last week that a Bad Boys 4 is in the works at the movie studio, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Eminem’s surprise album Music To Be Murdered By is expected to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 next week and in the process, make Bill- board history. According to HITS Daily Double, Shady’s 11th studio effort is projected to move between 300,000 and 325,000 album-equivalent units.
If the project does indeed top the Billboard 200, it will make the Detroit-bred rap god the first artist to earn 10 con- secutive No. 1 debuts in U.S. history. Em is currently tied with Kanye West, who earned his ninth consecutive No. 1 debut with 2019’s Jesus Is King.

To Finish Prison Sentence At Home
NEW YORK, NY – Judge Paul Engelmayer has re- portedly denied Tekashi 6ix9ine’s petition to finish his sentence at home. Accord- ing to TMZ, Engelmayer said his time in prison is “necessary in this case ... [to] reflect the seriousness of his crimes.”
He added granting 6ix9ine’s request would “eliminate the remaining prison component of his sen- tence in favor of lesser forms of confinement.” One of 6ix9ine’s attorneys, Dawn Florio, says they’re appealing the decision.
