  Shaq Admits He
Delonte West Reportedly Has Not Cooperated When People Have Tried To Help
DELONTE WEST
Delonte West was seen in videos that spread across the in- ternet Monday showing him getting beat up on a highway and then sounding incoherent while talking with an officer.
One of the consistent re- sponses from those who watched was: why isn’t anyone helping out West, who clearly does not seem to be in a good state of mind?
The answer seems to be that many have been aware of West’s issues and tried to help, but he has not been cooperative.
NBA Royalty Pays Respects To David Stern
   Was Terrified Of Jordan,
Robinson, Barkley
NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal likes to brag about his dominance in the league, but it turns he was afraid of facing some players too.
Shaq admitted he was ter- rified to face Michael Jordan the whole game when the two faced each other for the first time.
He also revealed the other players he was afraid of, namely David Robinson, Charles Barkley and Patrick Ewing.
SHAQUILLE O’NEAL keem Olajuwon, Shaq ex-
plained that he wasn’t afraid of him because he wasn’t mean like, for example, Barkley was.
Not far from the office where David Stern held the NBA’s highest post for three decades, legends of the game joined family and friends to honor the late commissioner at a memorial service held inside Manhattan’s Radio City Music Hall on Tuesday, three weeks after a brain hemorrhage claimed his life.
Following a video tribute, Stern’s successor, Adam Sil- ver, was the first on a list of speakers that also included Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson and Johnson’s longtime coach, Pat Riley, among others.
Michael Jordan, Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul-
Jabbar, Yao Ming, Dirk Nowitzki and Dikembe Mu- tombo were reportedly among the NBA legends paying their respects. Both the Lakers and New York Knicks canceled practices in New York to allow members of both organizations to attend, according to the New York Post’s Marc Berman. Every team was believed to have been represented at the service.
“I’m going to miss my angel,” a tearful Johnson said in his eulogy, according to ESPN’s Marc J. Spears. “We all know he is the greatest com- missioner to ever live, but he’s a man that stood for what is right.”

Barry Bonds Denied. Again.
Baseball and writers are a joke. For yet another year, one of the greatest players in MLB history is being kept out of the Hall of Fame.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Baseball Writers’ Association of America voted on the 2020 Hall of Fame inductees. They settled on Derek Jeter and Larry Walker.
Good for Jeter and Walker, two tremendous baseball players who very much deserve that honor. But it’s hard to care much about who was voted in, when who was left out feels like a bigger

story.
Yet again, San Francisco
Giants legend Barry Bonds did not earn the 75% vote needed to enter the Hall. He climbed a tiny bit closer, but is still a ways off.
    Dwight Powell Likely Done For
Year After Suffering Achilles
Injury In Clippers Loss
Just as the Dallas Maver- icks had one player return to the court from injury, it looks as if another is done for the year.
With just less than three minutes left in the opening quarter of their 110-107 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday night at the American Airlines Center, Dallas center Dwight Powell caught the ball near the top of the key and started to make a move to drive through the lane to the hoop.
As he took his first steps, however, Powell suddenly fell to the ground completely un- touched as his right leg col- lapsed.
DWIGHT POWELL
Powell remained on the ground, clearly in pain, for sev- eral minutes before he was helped off the floor. The 28- year-old did not return, finish- ing the night with one point and three rebounds. Powell is expected to miss the rest of the season.
