When the new school year begins on August 12th, several new princi- pals will lead their respective schools. This year, 23 educators have been appointed as principals.
The new principals will fill va- cancies at 18 elementary schools, 1 middle school, 1 K-8 school, and 3 high schools. For some educators, this will be their first assignment as a principal. Others are transferring from another school. And, still oth- ers have been promoted from the role of assistant principal.

Deer Park Elementary: Edith Lefler, former principal at Twin Lakes Elementary School.
