DEACON JOHNNIE CHARLES BANKS
Homegoing Celebration for Deacon Johnnie Charles Banks, who passed away on July 24, 2019, will be held at 11 a. m. on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at Tampa First Seventh Day Adven- tist Church, 822 W. Limbaugh Av- enue, Tampa, Florida, with the Pastor Brad Cassell, officiating, and Pastor Rolando Rodriguez, eulogist. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Deacon Johnnie Charles Banks was born on March 9, 1938 in Tifton, Georgia to the parent- age of Nathan Banks and Lilly Mae Davis Banks. He was edu- cated in the public schools of Tifton, Georgia. Mr. Banks was a Salesman for HageMeyer and J & A Tool Repair prior to his retire- ment. He was a member of Tampa First Seventh Day Adven- tist Church.
Deacon Banks leaves to cher- ish precious memories of him with: wife, Ann Banks of Valrico, FL; daughters, LaTanya Lloyd of Valrico, FL, and Felicia Howard and husband, Allan; son, Elder Leon and wife, Leona; 5 grand- children; brother, Eddie Banks and wife, Katherine, Orlando, FL, and Nathaniel Banks, Jr., Tifton, GA; a host of nieces and nephews; a host of cousins including, Willie Zell Gray and her children, Ty Ty, GA, Kassier Merchant and Tim Murray, of Clermont, FL, Ivan and Sherikey Mobley, Clermont, FL, Benjamin Jerome Kyler, Miami, FL, Henry Johnson and Linda, Augusta, GA, Betty Bro- kenborough, Ocala, FL, and Rev. Mary Hodge, Willingboro, NJ; 3 brothers-in-law; 5 sisters-in-law; a host of other relatives and friends.
There will be a viewing on Monday, August 5, 2019, at Wil- son Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, from 5 p.m. - 7 p. m.
Friends are asked to assemble at the church on Tuesday at ap- proximately 10:45 a. m. for the service.

    A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. Thomas Sherman will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019, 2 p. m. at the University of South Florida Marshall Student Center (MSC) - Room 3708.
Fellowship and Repast follow- ing the service.
Thomas was born in New Jer- sey, but spent the last several years in the Tampa Bay area. He was known for his expertise in the field of Cosmetology and for his flashy attire.
Thomas was a perfectionist and had a particular way of com- pleting all of his tasks.
Thomas leaves lasting memo- ries behind for his son, two daugh- ters, four grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins and devoted friends.
