COALITION OF CLERGY HOSTS UNITY PRAYER VIGIL
In wake of the recent rash of violence throughout the nation, the Tampa Bay Coalition of Clergy hosted a Unity Prayer Vigil on Monday, August 8th for slain police officers and victims. The vigil was held at Allen Temple African Methodist Epis- copal Church, with Rev. Dr. David Green as host pastor. The vigil was co-hosted by Rev. Dr. W. James Favorite, Pastor of Beu- lah Baptist Institutional Church and President of Pastors on Patrol; and Rev. Dr. Bartholomew Banks, Pastor, St. John Progressive M. B. Church and President, Progressive M & E Baptist State Convention of Florida, Inc. Bishop Thomas Scott is Chairman of the Tampa Bay Coalition of Clergy. Pastors who attended the vigil included: Rev.
