Judge Says No To The Game’s
Retrial In Sexual Assault Suit With Reality Show Contestant
The Game was ordered to pay Priscilla Rainey $7.13 M.
The Game will not receive a re-trial in his sexual assault case as he requested.
A judge denied the Comp-
ton rapper’s request because Game did not file the paper- work properly. Game was asking for a new trial or at least a reduction in the $7.13 million he was ordered to pay to Priscilla Rainey, a con- testant on his She’s Got Game reality show who claimed he sexually assaulted her.
The two allegedly went on a date after taping for the show when she claims he forcibly groped her.
The Game can still re-file the motion for the re-trial.
Rainey first took the rap- per to court in August of 2015 seeking $10 million.
Kanye West’s hospital- ization is causing controversy for more than just the rapper. According to reports, UCLA Medical Center, where Yeezy was staying, is investigating its employees for possibly ac- cessing Kanye’s medical records.
Upon ‘Ye’s arrival at the hospital last month, several staff reportedly flocked to the computers to try to get access to check out Kanye’s file. There is an ongoing investi- gation into the matter with varying sources saying that either “several dozen” people have been or will be termi- nated or the investigation is underway with pink slips ex- pected to be handed out at the end of it all.

Petition Calls For R. Kelly To Be Tossed From Festival Lineup
Turner, 77, said in a state- ment, “it has been wonderful to collaborate with Katori and Phyllida and to have my story nurtured by such an amazing creative team is thrilling.”
The lineup for the first an- nual Soulquarius Festival was announced Monday (Decem- ber 19). The event, scheduled for February 18 in Santa Ana, California, is set to be head- lined by R. Kelly and Erykah Badu, with the likes of Ja Rule & Ashanti, Jhené Aiko, The Phar- cyde, The-Dream and more than a dozen other acts also booked to perform.
However, less than 24 hours after the lineup was an- nounced, a petition has sur- faced on Change.org calling for R. Kelly to be removed from the festival.
The petition, titled “Kick

Tina Turner’s life story was famously documented in the 1992 film “What’s Love Got To Do With It” starring Angela Bassett, but now her story will get the stage treat- ment.
Production company Stage Entertainment has announced they are developing a musical based on the legend’s story. According to the Associated Press, playwright Katori Hall, the writer behind civil rights-era drama “The Moun- taintop,” will write the script.
Developers behind the ABBA musical “Mamma Mia,” including director Phyl- lida Lloyd, choreographer Anthony van Laast and de- signer Mark Thompson, will also contribute to the Tina Turner production. A venue and dates have yet to be announced.
Sevyn Streeter Finally Sings At 76ers Game
Back in October, Sevyn Streeter was told she wasn’t allowed to sing the National Anthem at the season-open- ing game for the Philly 76ers because she wore a jersey that read “We Matter.”
After documenting the or- deal on social media and get- ting a public apology from the 76ers organization (which consisted of announcing she would get another chance to sing), Sevyn finally got a re- do.
On Friday (Dec. 16), Sevyn sang the National Anthem as the 76ers vs. Los Angeles Lak- ers game proudly rocking her “We Matter” jersey.

Judge Orders Sean Kingston To Pay Jeweler $44K
It has been an epic year for Sean Kingston, and it has nothing to do with music and more to do with his jewelry.
Kingston was just ordered to fork over $44,000 for an outstanding jewelry bill, as part of an ongoing lawsuit over a Rolex and a diamond bracelet that he was accused of never paying for.
Haimov Jewelers in Florida will soon be $44,000 richer, after a judge ruled that Sean Kingston swapped his old Rolex for a new one, in addition to a $19,000 bracelet, but never paid for either item.
SEAN KINGSTON
In August, Sean Kingston was sued for
$300,000 and for copping a bunch of jewels and paying for them with checks that bounced.
He was also hit in the head with a champagne bottle robbed of those same neck- laces at Playhouse in Los An- geles, which resulted in a massive feud between Game and Meek Mill.
Kingston also has a $900,000 lawsuit against Playhouse, claiming the club was negligent in providing him security for the evening, which resulted in him being relieved of his jewelry.
