650 products.
•
Brooks low voltage FA40 base plates and
units developed, compatible with Brooks
FA40 panel.
•
First samples of Universal Switched Inputs
units being tested by market.
•
Large amount of engineering effort has gone
into developing project reset and has passed
BSI testing.
•
Developed an upgraded Gateway product
with new radio for updated RadioLINK
connect protocol.
•
Designed new Radon sensor with first
samples in January next year.
•
RadioLINK Connect development has taken
longer than anticipated but large scale trials
are now ongoing with expected release on a
range of products by April next year.
•
The new Ei6500 Combo product ran into
serious technical challenges and has been
put on hold until next year.
•
April 2025 saw the release of the 1st 4G gateway
to manufacturing, improving connectivity of our
devices.
•
Through 2025 the Gateway has also been updated
to include a new high availability messaging
service for TEC and ability to transmit more
analogue data.
•
There are now over 100,000 Gateways with
more than 500,000 Ei units connected in peoples
home across the UK and Ireland.
•
Starting to see some issues with switch off of
2G networks in the UK with Virgin no longer
providing roaming services.
•
Redevelopment of this gateway to extend its
capabilities to include the new Ei RadioLINK
2 protocol and BLE to aid the new streamlined
installation method. Work is ongoing to ensure
this product is delivered in time for manufacturing
in Q1 2026.
•
Future looking developments include the
addition of WiFi and Ethernet to the Gateway to
improve connectivity.
