Ei hosted ISO International Conference
From 8th to 12th September, Ei played host to an International ISO Group.
ISO/TC21/SC3 is a subcommittee of ISO Technical Committee 21. Its formal title is Fire Detection and Alarm Systems. It is responsible for standardization in the
field of fire detection and alarm systems. Chris Orr of Brooks is a member of this subcommittee, and he was instrumental in bringing this prestigious Conference
to Ei. Thorsten Teichert of Ei Germany is also a member and was also one of the delegates attending. The subcommittee had delegates from all over the world, and
it was an honour for Ei to host the Conference.
The Conference meetings were held in the COE Main Meeting Room and the delegates had lunch in the Dolmen Restaurant each day. Ei also hosted a Conference
Dinner at the Bunratty Manor on the Wednesday evening.
While in the region, the delegates got to see the Cliffs of Moher and enjoyed a meal at the famous Durty Nellys.
