Aico Celebrates 35 Years of Home Life Safety

Aiming to support the local community, Aico’s Project SOS has returned for its third
year. For 2025, the chosen winner was Woodside Primary School, who applied in the
hopes of improving their outdoor spaces ahead of the children’s return in September.
Volunteering Opportunities
Every colleague at Aico has 3 days
across the year to volunteer for local
causes.
This includes transforming outside
spaces, painting and decorating
interiors as well as sorting clothes,
and preparing food bank donations.

Aico was established in 1990 by Ken
Ainsworth when Ei appointed Aico as its
UK Distributor. It was a bold leap of faith
in what was a single-person operation.
Aico became a fully owned subsidiary of
Ei Electronics in 2004.
Now in 2025, Aico celebrated 35 years
in business and has established Ei/Aico
as one of the leading Electrical brands in
the UK.
Since the beginning, Aico has cultivated
a reputation for innovation, quality and
excellent customer service.
Over the past 35 years, Aico has achieved

part of home life safety and therefore is

CPD-accredited training courses which
