Supply Chain
This year Cian Foley rejoined our team and Fionán
Brooks and Dean Nestor moved from production to
Supply Chain. All report directly to Jackie and have
slotted in nicely to the team.
This year has seen a lot of geopolitical
events causing issues in the Supply
Chain. Restrictions on precious metals
from China and Houthi rebels continuing
to attack freight ships has led to longer
lead times on some components. The
issues with supply from Nexperia, a
Chinese owned electronics manufacturer,
previously owned by the Dutch, has also
led to a lot of shortages in the market.
At this stage disruption in the supply
chain has become the new norm so it’s
important that we have a dual source of
supply for all our key components.
This is achieved by a cross functional
team from NPI, Quality, Production,
R&D and Supply Chain working together
to approve good quality components to
keep production going.
Dual sourcing also ensures that we are
getting competitive pricing from our
suppliers. Well done to all involved in
the approvals process. It’s a slow tedious
process but the benefits are huge to the
business!

Supply Chain Team 2025
We can’t finish this page without
mentioning our colleague,
Amanda Buckley.
Amanda has had a very tough
year. She is a very strong person
and is a true fighter. We wish
her a speedy recovery and are
looking forward to her coming
back to Ei. Her infectious laugh
is missed around the factory!
Congratulations to Jack
Kellly and his fiancé
Jessica Ryan on the arrival
of their baby girl Lilly on
September 8th, 2025.
Damien Coughlan had
a big birthday turning
50 on August 25th but
that is topped by Martin
Moynihan turning the big
70 on 11th November.
Also our very own Ray
Fahy has joined the fire
brigade as a retained
member.
Ray is now fully trained
and gives up a lot of his
time to help people at
their worst moments.
Well done, Ray.
