Honourary PhD from University of Limerick
At a formal ceremony on 9th June at Plassey
House, the University of Limerick conferred
an Honorary Doctorate in Engineering on
Mick Guinee in recognition of his leadership
of Ei Electronics to be one of Ireland’s
leading indigenous companies, an exemplar of
manufacturing in Ireland for world markets
and a major contributor to the economy of the
region.
The citation was delivered by Deputy President,
Professor Ann Ledwith and the degree was
conferred by The University Chancellor,
Professor Bridget Laffan.
The Company’s Directors and Senior Staff
as well as Mick’s family and friends were in
attendance for this auspicious occasion.
