During a reciprocal visit between Clare County Council and
Birmingham City Council in February, Mayor of Birmingham,
Chairman Lai and Lady Mayoress, paid a visit to Ei.
Minister of State at the Department of Further & Higher Education,
Niall Collins, T.D. visited Ei in April.

Mick Guinee, Eric Duignan and Sean Meally met with the Minister for
Housing, Darragh O’Brien, T.D. when he addressed the members of Shannon
Chamber of Commerce at Dromoland Castle, in February.

visited Ei in March.
Many of these would remember the original GE owned Ei Company and
were fascinated to see how Ei Electronics has evolved and thrived since the
MBO in 1988.
