University Engagement Project 1966 Miss Ei visits the Factory
• Now in its 5th year the Women in
Engineering Scholarship in UL saw the
selection of Eimear Scally as this year’s
recipient.
• This year also saw the inaugural TUS Ei
Electronics Ascent Scholarship at TUS.
• Darragh O’Callaghan a first year
Electrical Engineering student and
Maria Coca were this year’s recipients
of the Ei Electronics Ascent Scholarship
with TUS.
• Our annual Graduate
Recruitment Fair Roadshow
saw great turnouts in UL and
TUS again this year.
• Once again we were delighted to host the
Regional Skills Midwest Talent Retention
& Upskilling.
• As an active member of Explore Engineering we took part in the
ever growing Showcase event in March – at Shannon Airport,
a great opportunity to promote the benefits of STEAM and a
career in engineering to the next generation.
• We have commenced a project targeted
at significantly improving our brand
awareness within UL, TUS and UCC.
This will focus on various sponsorship and
scholarship opportunities.

6S Bay Winners 2023 - Bay 45 6S Bay Winners 2024 - CO Sensor
This year, over 400 6S audits were completed on production cells, with an average score of 95%. While competition was fierce to determine the winning bay
for 2024, CO Sensor secured the top spot by wrestling the trophy away from last year’s winners, Bay45.
