Sales Highlights
• Growth has been achieved despite a flat market and challenging conditions.
o Total construction down 2.9%.
o Housing output down 9.1%.
o UK electrotechnical sector performance down 0.3%.
o No significant regulation or legislation change.
• Despite the above, 2024 total sales reached £220m.
o £5.7m, +2.7% growth on 2023.
• HomeLINK Gateway and Environmental Sensor demand has continued to
grow.
o Gateway and sensor sales exceed £8.2m.
o Over £4m, +100% growth on 2023 sales.
o Sales have surpassed Battery CO alarms and will exceed all Accessories.
o Our fastest growing product group.
o Now over 435,000 connected devices across 71,000 connected systems
across the UK.
• HomeLINK Case Management provides landlords with a
comprehensive, intuitive solution to manage issues like damp &
mould, addressing each stage with effectiveness:
o Identify issues by using data insights and resident surveys.
o Create, assign and track cases.
o Analysis tools to assess the effectiveness of remedial work and
property improvements.
o Record keeping of all details providing a complete audit trail.
o Direct communication to residents through the HomeLINK Resident
App.
• Changes to the Smoke, Heat and Carbon Monoxide Alarms for
Private Tenancies Regulations in Northern Ireland resulted in an
increase in demand from the private rental sector, leading up to a
compliancy deadline of 1st September 2024.
• A dedicated docu-series was also launched, From Component to Ceiling,
which focussed on the lifecycle of products – from design to installation
in homes across the UK. The series highlighted the commitment to quality,
showcasing the unique digital serialisation of products that ensures
traceability and integrity at every stage. Viewers gained behind-the-scenes
insights into development, manufacturing, distribution, and installation
processes. The series underscored the dedication to resident safety,
product performance, and continuous improvement, reflecting a “golden
thread” of quality assurance throughout.
• Pressure on social housing providers requirements to
protect residents from damp and mould continues to build
and has been a key driver in the above.
o Awaab’s Law and Housing Ombudsman Government guidance documents.
o Multiple damp and mould related news stories.
o Widespread roll out of HomeLINK environmental sensors solutions within
RSLs, examples being:

Poplar HARCA – 6,000 homes.

West Dunbartonshire – 10,000 homes.

Mid Devon Council – 3,000 homes, actively promoting HomeLINK
solution across their own webinars.
• October saw the launch of HomeLINK Case Management solution – a significant
step change upgrade to the HomeLINK portal, it is an advanced tool designed to
address landlords’ biggest challenges in maintaining safe and compliant homes.
