Sean Coughlan
Chief Financial Officer
Sean Coughlan joined the Company as Chief Financial Officer
(CFO) on 4th March 2024.
He joined Ei from Limerick City & County Council, where he was
Deputy Chief Executive since 2019 and oversaw an annual budget
of €1.2b. In this position he developed and agreed funding for the
€350m City Centre development, known as the ‘Opera Centre’.
He is a Board member of Limerick Twenty Thirty.
Prior to his career in Local Authority, Sean was Financial Controller
of Kerry Argi Dairies, part of the Kerry Group.

David Richardson
Chief Technology Officer
David was appointed CTO in March 2024. He joined Ei as Sensor
Technologist in 2015 and was promoted to Senior Technologist in
2018.
As CTO, David has responsibility for developing and implementing
the Group’s overall technology strategy in line with the business
objectives. He will drive product innovation and R&D initiatives.
He is tasked with continuing the proud tradition of innovation and
technology leadership of Ei within our industry. And he will serve as
strategic advisor to the CEO and Executive team on all technology
related matters.
David has a first class honours B.Sc in Applied Physics and a PhD in
Material Sciences.
