The following details the high-level process and functionality that will be made available to the customer and its suppliers. The process and platforms used in each step is adjusted to match the specific maturity or size of the suppliers. The initial benchmark process incorporates the Value Builder Platform due to its ability to benchmark large numbers of suppliers at no cost. The platform further ensure that those suppliers not selected are given the information needed to better themselves for the next round or other programs.
The following details the process:
1. The customer sends the link to its suppliers (unlimited at no cost)
a) Suppliers complete the 20minute Online Survey (no cost)
b) Optional supplier days that can be used to build supplier relationships and communicate results and individual reports. (Supplier Day
facilitation at no cost, Reports from R800 to R1999)
2. A detailed dashboard and 8 factor customised development report is generated for each supplier (electronic form at no cost). The data from all
suppliers are aggregated into a comprehensive supplier report that can guide the development specification. (at no cost)
3. The customer chooses from four delivery options. Site visits are conducted before delivery option A. This includes the development of customised
delivery plans, skills verification, equipment and asset audit and needs analysis, governance and process audits. (cost of R2999 per site visit)
a) Option A incorporation into a full ESD 1,2 or 3year program that is delivered through our three-tiered approach, Tier 1 – QSE (R75k per
supplier), Tier 2 – EME (R55k per supplier) and Tier 3 – ED (min 20 at R32k per supplier).
b) 8-month access to the Value Builder System at R3500 per supplier. This includes monthly development webinars.
c) Develop and run an incubator program targeting ICT and IoT prototyping focused on the customer strategic focus areas.
d) Run community level programs targeting 100 candidates per session ensuring development and identification of skills. Program progresses through three levels ultimately providing entry into ED.
e) Develop a team of industry specific, customer specific, supplier specific consultants that will be trained and certified to deliver ESD services.
