The proposed customer program will follow a standard approach designed to ensure correct selection and development in line with the the customer’s Strategic objectives and industry
1) Supplier Selection: The survey will be sent to the customer’s existing suppliers but can also in future be extended to the broader market or industry specific suppliers not part of the customer’s supplier database. This can later be incorporated into an ED program forming the feeder process for future SD programs. (Unlimited and at no charge to the customer or its suppliers)
Evaluation Process and Criteria
Based on the analysis and scoring of the businesses, all scores will be aggregated and filtered based on criteria that will ensure enterprises are selected that have both the potential and ability to grow through the program. The process also ensure that gender, race, age and other demographic criteria is captured for specific alignment to strategic objectives.
The enterprises will be shortlisted based on the following key criteria obtained from the survey:
Business Turnover – The first selection stage is based on the business turnover making it easy to link them to the correct tier solution.
Overall Score - The 8 Factors – Impact of factors on Business value and ability to grow and scale. The second selection again enables the enterprises to be split into tiers aligned with the business maturity and stage.
Competitive Advantage – This ensures that the enterprises no matter the size or stage has a differentiated product or service positioning Growth Potential – This indicator enables the selection process to identify enterprises with huge growth potential at an early stage
The selection process ensures the database is maintained and that those that did not manage to enter the programs are included in other national projects. Business Doctors works closely with SEDA and will ensure they are registered and provided with SEDA consulting and services
2) Overall Shortlisting Approach: We have developed industry specific benchmarking and growth potential diagnostic platforms that ensure the right suppliers are selected and that the current suppliers are bench marked and relevant gaps analysed. The results are presented to the customer and its suppliers to enable analysis and incorporation into ESD program design. (Unlimited and at no charge to the customer or its suppliers)
