1 – Validate Benchmark Data
Supplier Operational benchmark results will be communicated and verified with suppliers. Focus will be given on identifying critical areas for development in line with specific supplier and customer requirements. The Value Builder scenario planning functionality will be used to estimate project impact and KPIs.
2 – Analyse Profitability KPIs
Supplier financials will be reviewed to establish high level profitability indicators. Focus will be on developing a three-year GP and NP forecast and impact plan. Valuation and possible investment opportunities will be established ate the same session. We will also capture number of employees, growth potential and impact on average salaries.
3 – Analyse Financial Compliance
Supplier financial compliance will be reviewed including audited financials, Vat registration, TAX clearance etc. The focus is also to establish the level of intervention that will be required i.e. allocation of accountant, installation of financial and payroll systems.
4 – Analyse Governance Maturity
The site visit includes the review of all processes and governance. The analysis will determine the maturity across all processes.
5 – Review Asset Requirements
The supplier resource i.e. equipment requirements will be reviewed. The objective will be to ensure that suppliers are able to meet current and future delivery demands. The asset requirements will be submitted as part of the three-year plan.
6 – Review Certification Requirements
Industry specific certification requirement and gap analysis will be conducted. Again, any requirements linked to the supplier’s ability to deliver current and future orders will be reviewed and requirements captured in the three-year plan.
7 – Compile 1 to 3 Year Development Plan
The Site Visit and audit process will result in a report highlighting the targeted growth, KPIs and resource requirements. The report will highlight program focus areas, Program Recommendation and a detailed year one development engagement plan.
