 Planning Application Guide
Drawing Samples.
 Elevations: Proposed and existing Usually at a scale of 1:50 or 1 100.There must be an elevation drawing of all sides of the proposed building(s) and existing as appropriate.
Floor Plans: Usually at a scale of 1.100, although if a 1:50 scale is used for the elevation drawings it is better to maintain the same scale throughout the submission. Note: All dimensions and quantities on drawings must be expressed in metric measurements.
Planning application drawings with imperial units cannot be accepted.
Recent Government guidance relating to “Greater  exibility for Planning Permission” advises Local Authorities to list drawings that are approved by the granting of planning permission.
To help us achieve this please ensure that all drawings submitted with a planning application have drawing numbers indicated, including the provision for revision.
