The stage is set for an unforgettable occasion
Act 1 The Day Before
Arrive the day before your wedding with your closest family and friends from home and abroad. Enjoy the excitement of their arrival. And if you want, take this time to add your personal touches to the tables in the Garden Room or personalise the House. And then meet in your Private Bar for drinks and a pre-wedding rehearsal dinner. Or take advantage of a more lavish reception for your nearest and dearest, in our beautiful Bubbly bar! Why not spoil the ones you love!
Act 2 The Morning of Your Wedding
You’re in the House so enjoy your breakfast in our Dining Room. Then the Girls go to our Ladies Lounge where the hairdressers and makeup artists can work their magic. Take the stress out of having to run around and organise everyone, and relax and enjoy the build up! We will look after that for you! Whilst the boys can get a hot towel shave and lunch in town.
Act 3 Your Ceremony
Ballinacurra House is licensed to hold Civil Ceremonies and Gay Marriages. These can be religious, spiritual, Humanist or non-denominational. Say ‘I do’ in one of gorgeous reception rooms or ‘Alfresco’ in one of our beautiful outdoor areas, by the Pagoda, Croquet Lawn, Sundial Lawn of Rotunda, with 40 acres of an Estate, the options are vast and equally stunning! We can also advise you on the process and contacts to match you with the ideal solemniser. Or if you wish to have a Church Wedding, we provide you with a directory of all the various Churches within a 30 minute radius of the House. The closest are in Kinsale – a mere 4 minute drive away.
Act 4 Your Drinks Reception
With your beautiful Ceremony now finished, time to for the celebrations to begin! And rather than missing all the fun of the drinks reception, have your photographs in the grounds or throughout the house with your family and friends are around you. Photographers love our House and grounds. There are so many photographic opportunities – both formal and informal.
This is also somewhere you can have great fun! Why not personalise your drinks reception with a Signature Cocktail, homemade mixed berry lemonade and Prosecco or if it is in the winter, you could have Hot Rum Punch and Mulled Wine. We can work with you to personalise every aspect of your wedding.
