Act 5 Your Wedding Dinner
No request is too small or too unusual. So whether it is a 3 course Dinner, our popular 4 and 5 course Chef’s Tasting Menus or a 6 course Banquet, the choice is yours. And we always remember the little touches for those who have dietary requirements as there is a ‘secret’ choice for them at no extra charge.
The combined side-by-side banquet rooms are the Garden Room which has space for up to 130 people and the Ballroom for up to 50 people, and both open up directly onto the terrace and gardens offering breath-taking views of the rolling Irish countryside.
Act 6 Your After Dinner Party
The Italian Ballroom is magical for your ceremony by day and can be transformed into a spectacular room for dancing after dinner. And the whole room becomes your dance floor – so you are not dancing in between tables.
Act 7 Your Recovery Day
If would be a shame to stop just as the party gets going. It is a ‘Wedding Weekend’ you are celebrating, so why not take advantage of the different options Ballinacurra has to offer! The Recovery Day party is the time that the Bride and Groom particularly enjoy. With the formalities over, it’s now time to relax and chat with family and friends around the fire or a garden party on the lawn with picnic baskets. The options are endless.
So choose the 2 hour slot for your home cooked breakfast, wander into Kinsale for a bit of shopping, wander the grounds and go for a swim in the river, or simply go back to bed for a nap – and then meet up in the early evening for cocktails in the Cuban Cocktail Bar. And then why not enjoy a Mexican Burrito Bar, a Classic Burger Bar or an all-out Barbecue for dinner. And don’t forget to have a band in your Private Bar for a good aul session!!
The Cuban Cocktail Lounge and Cigar Bar
The ultimate hangout shed! We went to Cuba – fell in love with it – so we brought a Cuban Bar paraphernalia back with us. It is authentic with original objects de art items. It’s the perfect Rum Shack for Havana Club-based Mojitos, Cuba Libres and Dacquiris – all made the traditional Cuban way by staff who have been trained by Havana Club Rum.
It’s an atmospheric add-on – either late at night for a one day wedding or to kick off your recovery party – any time is cocktail time.
