George Rocco Seminara, Jr. Director/NJ Lic. #4927
George Rocco Seminara, Jr. was born and raised in Manville, NJ. He is a graduate of Manville High School Class of 1983. Immediately after graduation, he entered the United States Marine Corps where he spent the next twelve years. After military life, while attending college, George “Rocco” entered into a career in Law Enforcement. In 2007, after reaching the rank of Lead Officer, among other leadership positions, George “Rocco” retired from the State of New Jersey with over twenty years of combined government service. George “Rocco” joined the team at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home and Countryside Funeral Home in 2007 and started his internship under the guidance of owner John “Jack” Zalewski. Upon completion of Mortuary School, he was licensed as a funeral director in August of 2011. George “Rocco” served seven years as Commandant of the Marine Corps League Road Detachment #1284 located in the Manville/Hillsborough, NJ area of which he is a life member. He is also a life member of VFW Post #2290 in Manville, and the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association. He enjoys running, golfing and spending time with his family in his leisure time.
Sharon Ann Zalewski Director/NJ Lic. #2820
Sharon was born in Frankfurt, Germany, while her father was serving with the United States Army. She was a graduate of Immaculata High School Class of 1986 in Somerville, NJ. She received her Certificate of Proficiency in Funeral Service from Mercer County Community College in West Windsor, NJ and earned her Practitioner of Mortuary Science Degree in 1991. Sharon is also a Licensed Life Insurance Producer helping to assist those families wishing to finance prearranged funerals. Sharon is a member of the Middlesex-Somerset Funeral Directors Association and the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association, a member of the Manville Business & Professional Association where she had served as secretary, a member of the Hunterdon Chamber of Commerce, and a past member of the Flemington Rotary Club. She is a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges, NJ. Although dedicated to both her family’s businesses and her devotion to the families she serves, in her spare time she enjoys traveling and spending cherished times with her adored nephews Zachary Zalewski, Aiden Zalewski and Dylan Zalewski.
