CBSO partners with Hockley
Social Club for Symphonic
Sessions
Hockley Social Club and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra are teaming up for
the first time this autumn.
Combining genre-bending live music with delicious street food in Birmingham’s hottest
new venue, the first Symphonic Sessions event will take place from 6pm on Thursday 21
October.
Musicians from the world-renowned orchestra will set the tone for a great night out as
they invite audiences to kick back in Birmingham's newest neighbourhood hangout. The
perfect evening for the musically curious, audiences can expect genre-bending music
fusing contemporary classical, indie and everything in between - from Sufjan Stevens
and Sigor Ros to Shostakovich. Plus, DJ sets from local tastemaker Pritt Kalsi, and a great
selection of street food from Hockley’s popular vendors.
A new venture from the team behind Digbeth Dining Club, Hockley Social Club is a
converted warehouse on Hampton Street that has been transformed into a street food
