GSA IS EXPANDING
Volume 6 Issue 3
In September 2017 GSA opened an additional 18,000 square feet of new spaces for our students. This expansion includes new dance studios, jazz studio, percussion studio, art gallery/studio, classroom, locker rooms, storage and a new music hall. For the first time in 30 years the music students have their own rehearsal hall that also doubles as a recital hall. For the first in 30 years the dance department has joined the rest of the school!
The expansion
40% increase in instructional hours in the instrumental music department
13% increase in the number of students that can attend
100% of GSA students are now under one roof
1 new space for the film program: there was no space before the expansion
4 new dance studios that give us the ability to better develop the dance program
1 new art gallery that allows for students to exhibit and sell their own work
