The reconstruction journey began on March 29th, 2024.
They used fat from my abdomen to recreate my breasts, but even that wasn’t enough.
More surgeries followed, and as I sit here today, I know I’m not done yet. My next surgery is set for Christmas Eve, and even something as “small” as having met my deductible for the year is a victory amidst this ongoing war.
The fat grafting will continue, but as I told my doctor, I need balance— both physically and aesthetically.
