Accelerated Welding
This accelerated program is designed to impart useful state-of-the art skills in the shortest possible time frame. In this 250-hour program, students will learn welding skills including Basic Metal Preparation (80), shielded Metal Arc Welding (80) and Gas Metal Arc Welding (80) and Work Life Skills (10). Multi-Skill Robotics

The Multi-Skilled Robotics program is a fast-track curriculum designed to provide graduates with basic skills and knowledge needed for careers in control systems, industrial automation, work cell development and robotics. Students will learn hands-on welding technology through a variety of subjects including: Safety, Print Reading (Symbols & Drawings), Cutting & Brazing, Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG), Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG), Pre-Heat/Post-Heat Metals, Intro to small Pipe Welding, Resistance Welding, and Ro- botic Welding. Included in this course is an AWS Certification test, textbook, welding calculator, safety gloves and safety glasses. A electronic welding helmet is recommended and a welding jacket is required. Community Health Worker
The Michigan Community Health Worker Alliance (MiCHWA), in collaboration with Mott Community College and
the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan, is launching a MiCHWA Community Health Worker Training Program. Individuals who successfully complete the program will receive a certificate of completion signed by MiCHWA. They will also be recognized for MiCHWA CHW Certification in the eight MiCHWA CHW Core Competencies. Successful completion of the program does not guarantee employment but does enhance your employability in the community health worker profession. 126 Hours (in-class sessions, homework, exams, independent study) + 40 Internship Hours (if not employed as a CHW).
