Workkeys is a job skills assessment that assists companies in setting skills standards for current positions making better hiring decisions for future employees, training, developing and retaining a high-performance workforce. Developed by ACT, a national organization well known as a leader in education assessment and workforce develop- ment services. WorkKeys is widely used throughout the United States. Over the past decade, ACT has completed thousands of job task and skill profiles for small, medium, and large companies. ACT WorkKeys has assisted numer- ous individuals in high schools, colleges, professional associations, businesses, and government agencies build their skills and develop successful career pathways. Successful completions of ACT WorkKeys assessments in Applied Mathematics, Locating Information, and Reading for Information can lead to earning ACT’s National Career Read- iness Certificate, a portable credential earned by more than one million individuals across the US. The workKeys systems includes: Job Profiling, Assessment, and Instructions Support.

Motorcycle Safety Basic Class w/eCourse
Earn the Michigan Secretary of State Motorcycle endorsement on your driver’s license. A state grant allows partici- pants to take the knowledge and riding skills tests. Upon registration, you will receive a coupon code that will waive the cost for the online eCourse that must be completed prior to the first riding skills class. Cost: $50

 This one-day course is designed for the rider who has been away from the sport for a time or the experienced rider who needs to become licensed. Many experienced riders use this course as a refresher. Topics include braking, counter-steering, turning, turning speed judgment and other techniques to operate a motorcycle with skill and safety. Mott College recommends that you provide your own properly-titled, registered, and insured motorcycle. Successful completion of this course waives the Secretary of State Riding Skills Test. Cost: $50
