To whom it may concern,
This letter serves as my recommendation for Meon Stubbs as the Perinatal and Infant Health Section Manager. Since 2006, I have had the opportunity to work with Ms. Stubbs in various roles within the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). As her manager, I observed Ms. Stubbs to be innovative, dependable, and dedicated with completing work goals. Ms. Stubbs demonstrated great teaming as she often volunteered for projects and she regularly assisted others with completing duties. In addition, Ms. Stubbs’ consistency maintained a calm demeanor even while dealing with challenging situations.
Ms. Stubbs has worked very well with community partners and building relationships. She has been observed to provide great internal and external customer service. Ms. Stubbs created and developed resources in the community to support families in reunification. Ms. Stubbs was selected in the role of a Family to Family Facilitator, where she launched the Family to Family Initiative. She led several community forums that involved community partners, such as Family Court, law enforcement, community agencies and churches. As a Program Manager in Child Welfare, Ms. Stubbs served as the Training Coordinator and she was member of the Multi- Disciplinary Team at the Child Abuse Consortium in Genesee County.
Ms. Stubbs was a vital component to the implementation of child welfare policies and procedures in Genesee County. She managed a very diverse child welfare team. She is solution focused and works hard at achieving great outcomes for the families that we service. Ms. Stubbs is a take-charge person who can present creative ideas and communicate the benefits of working with a team.
